दम घुटने से पति-पत्नी की मौत…रात को सिगड़ी पर नॉनवेज चढ़ाकर सो गए दोनों

राजस्थान के कोटा में एक पति पत्नी की संदिग्ध मौत हो गई। दोनों पति-पत्नी रात में कमरे में सिगड़ी पर नॉनवेज चढ़ाकर सो गए। रात में दम घुटने से दोनों की मौत हो गई। सुबह बेटा जगाने पहुंचा तो कमरे का गेट बंद मिला। बेटे ने आवाज लगाई तो दोनों ने गेट नहीं खोला।

बेटे ने आसपास के लोगों को बुलाया और खिड़की तोड़कर अंदर देखा तो दोनों मृत हालात में पड़े थे। सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मृतकों का एमबीएस हॉस्पिटल की मोर्चरी में पोस्टमार्टम कराकर शव परिजनों का सौंप दिया है। यह घटना कोटा शहर के किशोरपुरा थाना क्षेत्र की है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, मृतक लक्ष्मण (45) मूलरूप से बारां जिले के पलायता का निवासी था। करीब 20 साल से वह कोटा में साजिदेहड़ा इलाके में किराए से रह रहा था। लक्ष्मण वर्तमान में बंजारा कॉलोनी स्थित मैरिज गार्डन में चौकीदारी का काम करता था। उसकी पत्नी चंदा (40) कबाड़ी के गोदाम पर मजदूरी करती थी।

दोनों के दो बेटे व एक बेटी है। लक्ष्मण की रात में ड्यूटी होने के कारण वह मैरिज गार्डन के कमरे में सोने चला गया। पीछे से उसकी पत्नी चंदा भी वहां आ गई। दोनों ने सर्दी से बचाव के लिए कमरे में सिगड़ी जला रखी थी। सिगड़ी पर नॉनवेज भी चढ़ाकर दोनों पति पत्नी सो गए। कमरे में वेंटिलेशन नहीं होने के कारण दम घुटने से दोनों की मौत हो गई। सुबह दोनों मृत हालात में मिले।

मृतक के बेटे राकेश ने बताया कि वो मैरिज गार्डन के पास ही किराए से रहते है। कभी-कभी उसकी मां रात में मैरिज गार्डन में पापा के पास रुक जाती थी। रात को भी उसकी मां पापा को खाना देने गई थी। देर होने के कारण वह वहीं पर जाकर सो गई। सुबह 7 बजे में राकेश वहां गया तो कमरे का गेट बंद मिला। कई बार आवाज देने पर भी दरवाजा नहीं खोला। आसपास के लोगों ने मदद की खिड़की तोड़नी पड़ी। अंदर जाकर देखा तो दोनों मृत मिले।

किशोरपुरा थाने के ASI हरिसिंह ने बताया सुबह करीब 9 बजे सूचना मिली थी। पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची तो वहां मौजूद लोगों ने कमरे के गेट तोड़ रखे थे। पति पत्नी अचेत हालात में मिले। दोनों को हॉस्पिटल लाए, ड्यूटी डॉक्टर ने दोनों को मृत घोषित किया। बेटे ने बताया कि दोनों रात को सिगड़ी जलाकर सोए थे। कमरे में वेंटिलेशन की जगह नहीं थी। डॉक्टर व परिजनों ने सिगड़ी के धुएं से दम घुटने से मौत होना बताया है। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद ही मौत के असली कारण सामने आएंगे।

Husband and wife died due to suffocation… both slept at night after offering non-veg on the stove

A husband and wife died suspiciously in Kota, Rajasthan. Both the husband and wife slept in the room at night with non-veg food on the stove. Both of them died of suffocation in the night. When I went to wake up my son in the morning, I found the gate of the room closed. When the son called out, both of them did not open the gate.

The son called people nearby and broke the window and looked inside to find both of them lying dead. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and conducted post-mortem of the deceased in the mortuary of MBS Hospital and handed over the bodies to the relatives. This incident took place in Kishorepura police station area of Kota city.

According to the information, the deceased Laxman (45) was originally a resident of Palayata in Baran district. He was living on rent in Sajidehra area of Kota for about 20 years. Laxman currently worked as a watchman in the marriage garden located in Banjara Colony. His wife Chanda (40) used to work as a laborer at a scrap warehouse.

Both have two sons and a daughter. Since Laxman was on duty at night, he went to sleep in the marriage garden room. His wife Chanda also came there from behind. Both of them had lit a cigarette in the room to protect themselves from the cold. Both the husband and wife went to sleep after offering non-veg to Sigri. Both of them died of suffocation due to lack of ventilation in the room. In the morning both were found dead.

Rakesh, son of the deceased, told that he lives on rent near the marriage garden. Sometimes his mother used to stay with his father in the marriage garden at night. Even at night his mother had gone to give food to his father. Since it was late, she went and slept there. When Rakesh went there at 7 in the morning, he found the gate of the room closed. The door was not opened even after calling several times. People nearby helped and had to break the window. When I went inside, I found both of them dead.

ASI Harisingh of Kishorepura police station said that the information was received at around 9 in the morning. When the police reached the spot, the people present there had broken the gate of the room. Husband and wife were found in unconscious condition. Both were brought to the hospital, the duty doctor declared both of them dead. The son told that both of them slept after lighting a cigarette at night. There was no ventilation in the room. Doctors and family members said that the death was due to suffocation due to cigarette smoke. The real cause of death will be revealed only after post-mortem.
