प्रदेश में डेंगू का कहर जारी है। डेंगू के नए डी2 स्ट्रेन के सक्रिय मरीजों की चिंता बढ़ गई है। एसएमएस अस्पताल में मरीजों की भारी भीड़ है. अन्य अस्पतालों में भी मरीज भर्ती प्रक्रिया चल रही है।

कोटा में हालात सबसे ज्यादा खराब नजर आ रहे हैं. जहां अस्पताल के वार्डों में बिस्तरों की कमी है, वहां अतिरिक्त बिस्तर लगाए जा रहे हैं। कोटा में चाहे सरकारी अस्पताल हों या निजी, हर जगह स्थिति नियंत्रण से बाहर हो गई है. इससे सबसे ज्यादा परेशानी बच्चों और युवाओं को होती है।

अब तक राज्य में डेंगू से दस से अधिक मरीजों की मौत हो चुकी है। अकेले कोटा में ही डेंगू से 6 लोगों की मौत हो गई. राज्य में डेंगू के 3,624 पॉजिटिव मामले हैं. जयपुर और कोटा में डेंगू का नया स्ट्रेन ज्यादा फैल रहा है. एसएमएस अस्पताल के अतिरिक्त अधीक्षक डॉ. प्रदीप शर्मा ने बताया कि अकेले एसएमएस अस्पताल में मौसमी बीमारियों की ओपीडी 1500 के करीब पहुंच रही है. प्रतिदिन 150 से 250 सैंपल लिए जाते हैं। इनमें से 20 से 25 मामले पॉजिटिव हैं।

डी2 स्ट्रेन घातक है, प्लेटलेट्स तेजी से गिरते हैं।

एसएमएस अस्पताल के डॉक्टर सुधीर मेहता ने बताया कि डेंगू के 4 स्ट्रेन होते हैं. इन चारों स्ट्रेन में से D2 सबसे घातक है. बाकी तीन स्ट्रेन से होने वाला बुखार सामान्य डेंगू है और इसकी जटिलता दर भी कम है। D2 स्ट्रेन में जटिलताओं की दर अधिक है। इससे तेज बुखार, पेट दर्द और उल्टी होती है। इस स्ट्रेन में डेंगू शॉक सिंड्रोम और डेंगू रक्तस्रावी बुखार देखा जाता है। वर्तमान में जारी किए गए सभी नमूनों में, D2 मामले सबसे अधिक हैं। साथ ही इसका पॉजिटिविटी रेट भी ज्यादा है. ऐसे में उन्होंने मरीजों को तुरंत चिकित्सा सहायता लेने का निर्देश दिया. उन्होंने कहा कि डेंगू बुखार का खतरा जुलाई से अक्टूबर तक रहता है। बारिश के बाद बाढ़ की स्थिति के कारण भी मच्छर तेजी से पनपते हैं। इससे डेंगू बुखार और अन्य मच्छर जनित बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। अन्य स्ट्रेन की तुलना में, डेंगू का डी2 स्ट्रेन तेजी से फैलता है और प्लेटलेट काउंट तेजी से गिरता है।

ब्लड बैंकों पर लाइनें लग रही हैं

जयपुर और कोटा में डेंगू का सबसे ज्यादा असर है. यहां ब्लड बैंकों पर कतारें लग रही हैं. मरीजों को एसडीपी और आरडीपी उपलब्ध करायी जा रही है। आने वाले मरीज के परिजनों को पूरा सहयोग दिया जा रहा है ताकि प्लेटलेट काउंट तेजी से बढ़े तो मरीज ठीक हो जाए। ब्लड बैंकों में 24 घंटे काम चल रहा है और मरीजों को हर संभव मदद दी जा रही है.

So far, more than ten patients have died due to dengue in the state. In Kota alone, 6 people died due to dengue. There are 3,624 positive cases of dengue in the state. The new strain of dengue is spreading more in Jaipur and Kota. Additional Superintendent of SMS Hospital, Dr. Pradeep Sharma said that the OPD of seasonal diseases in SMS Hospital alone is reaching close to 1500. 150 to 250 samples are taken daily. Of these, 20 to 25 cases are positive.

The D2 strain is fatal, platelets drop rapidly.

Doctor Sudhir Mehta of SMS Hospital told that there are 4 strains of dengue. Of these four strains, D2 is the most deadly. The fever caused by the remaining three strains is common dengue and its complication rate is also low. The D2 strain has a higher rate of complications. This causes high fever, stomach pain and vomiting. Dengue shock syndrome and dengue hemorrhagic fever are seen in this strain. Of all the samples currently released, D2 cases are the highest. Besides, its positivity rate is also high. In such a situation, he instructed the patients to seek medical help immediately. He said that the danger of dengue fever lasts from July to October. Mosquitoes also breed rapidly due to flood conditions after rain. This increases the risk of dengue fever and other mosquito-borne diseases. Compared to other strains, the D2 strain of dengue spreads faster and the platelet count drops faster.

Lines are forming at blood banks

Dengue is most affected in Jaipur and Kota. There are queues at blood banks here. SDP and RDP are being provided to the patients. Full support is being given to the family members of the visiting patient so that if the platelet count increases rapidly, the patient gets cured. Blood banks are working 24 hours a day and all possible help is being provided to the patients.
