राजस्थान में तीन सीटों के लिए होने वाले चुनाव में, बीजेपी की 2 सीटें और कांग्रेस की 1 सीट के लिए मुकाबला होने का आश्वासन है। राजस्थान में बीजेपी और कांग्रेस दोनों ही उम्मीदवारों की तैयारी में हैं। बीजेपी आलाकमान 3 उम्मीदवारों का चयन करेगी, जबकि कांग्रेस में सोनिया गांधी, अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी और राष्ट्रीय कोषाध्यक्ष अजय माकन के नामों की चर्चा हो रही है।

राजस्थान से पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह, केंद्रीय मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव, और मंत्री किरोड़ी लाल मीणा के सीटों का चुनाव होगा। डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह का कार्यकाल 2 अप्रैल को समाप्त होने जा रहा है, और इससे उनकी सीट खाली हो रही है।
