राजस्थान में कांग्रेस को तगड़ा झटका: 4 बार से विधायक-मंत्री महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय BJP में शामिल
लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस पार्टी के नेता अब बीजेपी में शामिल हो रहे हैं। महाराष्ट्र के बाद राजस्थान में भी कांग्रेस बीजेपी ज्वॉइन कर रहे हैं। अब राजस्थान के वरिष्ठ नेता और चार बार के विधायक महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय ने कांग्रेस से से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। कांग्रेस छोड़ते ही विधायक ने राज्य में सत्ताधारी भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) का दामन थाम लिया है।
अमित शाह के दौरे से पहले राजस्थान में बड़ा खेला
दरअसल, महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय ने बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव अरुण सिंह और प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सीपी जोशी की मौजूदगी में भाजपा की सदस्यता ग्रहण की। सियासी गलियारों में चर्चा है कि राजस्थान में बड़े स्थर पर कांग्रेस नेता और भाजपा में शामिल होने वाले हैं। बता दें कि गृह मंत्री अमित शाह 20 फरवरी को राजस्थान दौरे पर आ रहे हैं। इस मौके पर और भी कई नेता उनकी मौजूदगी में भाजपा ज्वॉइन कर सकते हैं।
मंत्री-विधायक और सांसद तक रह चुके महेंद्रजीत सिंह
बता दें कि महेंद्रजीत सिंह कांग्रेस की गहलोत सरकार में दो बार कैबिनेट मंत्री रह चुके हैं। वह बांसवाड़ा के बागीदौरा से चार बार के विधायक हैं। महेंद्रजीत ने सियासी सफर की शुरूआत अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद से की थी। छात्र राजनीति से वह यहां तक पहुंचे। सबसे पहले वह सरपंच बने और कांग्रेस के टिकट पर विधायक का चुनाव जीता। 1998 में बीजेपी के टिकट पर लोकसभा के लिए निर्वाचित हुए थे। लेकिन बाद में वे कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गए। इस बार उनका नाम नेता प्रतिपक्ष की दौड़ में भी शामिल था। उनकी पत्नी भी राजनीति में हैं वो वर्तमान में बांसवाड़ा से जिला अध्यक्ष पद पर काबिज हैं।
