चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस को बड़ा झटका, जाट नेता नाथूराम मिर्धा की पोती ज्योति मिर्धा ने थामा भाजपा का दामन

जयपुर. राजस्थान में विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस को बड़ा झटका लगा है. कांग्रेस के दिग्गज पूर्व जाट नेता व पूर्व सांसद नाथूराम मिर्धा की पोती ज्योति मिर्धा ने सोमवार को भाजपा का दामन थाम लिया. ज्योति मिर्धा पूर्व में कांग्रेस की टिकट पर नागौर से सांसद रह चुकी हैं, लेकिन सोमवार को उन्होंने कांग्रेस से अपने सभी नाते तोड़ दिए और भाजपा में शामिल हो गईं. ज्योति मिर्धा ने इस दौरान कहा कि कांग्रेस में उन्हें घुटन महसूस हो रही थी, इसलिए वो भाजपा में शामिल हुई हैं और अब पार्टी की सच्चे सिपाही की तरह काम करेंगी.

कांग्रेस में हो रही थी घुटन - भाजपा में शामिल होने के बाद पूर्व सांसद ज्योति मिर्धा ने कहा कि राजस्थान में कानून व्यवस्था नाम की कोई चीज नहीं है. यहां सुशासन देने की बात थी, लेकिन गहलोत सरकार इसमें पूरी तरह से विफल हो चुकी है. कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं को नजरअंदाज किया जा रहा है. लगातार पार्टी में घुटन महसूस हो रही थी, इसलिए उन्होंने कांग्रेस को छोड़ भाजपा का दामन थाम लिया. उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय नेतृत्व ने बुलाया, उनसे बातें की. साथ ही उन्हें पार्टी में शामिल होने को कहा, जिस पर वो राजी हुईं और राज्य में पार्टी के लिए काम करने की इच्छा जताई.

उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस में अब नेता और कार्यकर्ताओं की जिस तरह से अनदेखी हो रही है, उससे वहां काम करने की कोई गुंजाइश नहीं है. मिर्धा ने कहा कि उन्होंने कांग्रेस के साथ अपना राजनीतिक करियर शुरू किया, लेकिन अब उन्हें कांग्रेस में घुटन महसूस होने लगी थी. ऐसे में राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए वो भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल हुई हैं. पार्टी के आगे की जो दिशा निर्देश होंगे, वो उसके अनुसार निस्वार्थ भाव से काम करेंगी. उन्होंने आगे कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह और पार्टी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा ने उन पर जो विश्वास जाता है, वो उस पर सौ फीसद खरा उतरने की कोशिश करूंगी.

जाट समाज में मजबूत पकड़ - ज्योति मिर्धा के भाजपा में शामिल होने को कांग्रेस के लिए एक बड़े झटके के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है, क्योंकि जाट समुदाय में मिर्धा परिवार का दबदबा माना जाता है. बता दें कि प्रदेश के जाट समुदाय में मिर्धा परिवार की अच्छी पकड़ है. पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में मिर्धा को भाजपा और आरएलपी के संयुक्त उम्मीदवार हनुमान बेनीवाल ने हराया था. उससे पहले 2009 में ज्योति नागौर से कांग्रेस की सांसद रही हैं.

 वहीं, साल 2019 में कांग्रेस ने नागौर सीट से ज्योति मिर्धा को मैदान में उतारा था, उनके सामने भाजपा और राष्ट्रीय लोकतांत्रिक पार्टी के गठबंधन में रालोपा सुप्रीमो हनुमान बेनीवाल थे, जिन्होंने उन्हें हरा दिया था. इस बार हनुमान बेनीवाल ने दावा किया है कि वो इस बार विधानसभा चुनाव में भाजपा, कांग्रेस के साथ कोई गठजोड़ नहीं करेंगे. ऐसे में माना जा सकता है कि भाजपा ज्योति मिर्धा को नागौर से लोकसभा उम्मीदवार बना सकती है.

She further said that she will try to live up to the trust reposed in her by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda.

Strong hold in Jat community - Jyoti Mirdha's joining BJP is being seen as a big blow for Congress, because the Mirdha family is considered dominant in the Jat community. Let us tell you that the Mirdha family has a good hold in the Jat community of the state. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Mirdha was defeated by Hanuman Beniwal, the joint candidate of BJP and RLP. Before that in 2009, Jyoti had been Congress MP from Nagaur.
