राजस्थान में उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा से पहले कांग्रेस को एक और झटका, प्रदेश महासचिव ने दिया इस्तीफा

लोकसभा चुनाव में महज कुछ महीने और बाकी रह गए हैं. राजस्थान की दो प्रमुख सियासी दल कांग्रेस और बीजेपी पूरे जोरशोर से तैयारियों में जुट गई हैं. वहीं इस बीच कांग्रेस को एक बड़ा झटका लगा है. राजस्थान में कांग्रेस प्रदेश महासचिव चांदमल जैन ने पार्टी छोड़ दी है. उनके पार्टी छोड़ने से प्रदेश के सियासी गलियारों में अटकलों का बाजार गर्म हो गया है. 

इससे पहले बीते माह कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय ने भी पार्टी छोड़ कर बीजेपी का दामन थाम लिया था. इस बार बीजेपी ने महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय को बांसवाड़ा डुंगरपुर लोकसभा सीट से अपना उम्मीदवार बनाया है. कांग्रेस छोड़ने वाले चांदमल जैन को महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय का करीबी माना जाता है.

चांदमल जैन ने पार्टी छोड़ने को लेकर अपना त्यागपत्र राजस्थान कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा को भेज दिया है. दो हफ्ते पहले पार्टी छोड़ते समय महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय ने इशारों में कहा था कि आने वाले दिनों में बड़े स्तर पर लोग कांग्रेस को छोड़ कर बीजेपी ज्वाइन करेंगे.

आम चुनाव से पहले इन दो दिग्गजों के कांग्रेस छोड़ने से बड़ा सियासी नुकसान माना जा रहा है. 55 वर्षीय चांदमल जैन की बांसवाड़ा क्षेत्र के वोटर्स पर मजबूत पकड़ मानी जाती है.  महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय के बीजेपी का दामन थामने के बाद कांग्रेस के कई नेताओं के पार्टी छोड़ने को लेकर अटकलें लगाई जा रही थीं. इसका उन्होंने बगैर नाम लिया जाहिर भी कर दिया था.

चांदमल जैन का शुमार महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय के करीबियों में होता है. इससे पहले मालवीय के पार्टी छोड़ने पर बीजेपी ने राजस्थान की 15 सीटों पर जारी प्रत्याशियों की सूची में जगह दी है. बीजेपी ने उन्हें बांसवाड़ा से लोकसभा का उम्मीदवार बनाया है.

महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय इससे पहले चुनाव में लगातार जीत की हैट्रिक लगा चुके हैं और वह कांग्रेस के टिकट पर सांसद भी रहे हैं. वर्तमान में बांसवाड़ा सीट से बीजेपी से कनकमल कटारा सांसद हैं. महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय का राजस्थान की मेवाड़ और वागड़ में मजबूत पकड़ मानी जाती है.

मीडिया में छपी खबरों के मुताबिक, प्रदेश के आदिवासी अंचल सहित लगभग 18 विधानसभा सीटों पर महेंद्रजीत सिंह मालवीय की मजबूत पकड़ मानी जाती है. इसके अलावा मध्य प्रदेश और गुजरात से लगी सीमाओं से लगी आदिवासी क्षेत्र में उनकी मजबूत पकड़ मानी जाती है.

Another blow to Congress before the announcement of candidates in Rajasthan State General Secretary resigns

Earlier last month, veteran Congress leader Mahendrajit Singh Malviya had also left the party and joined BJP. This time BJP has made Mahendrajit Singh Malviya its candidate from Banswara Dungarpur Lok Sabha seat. Chandmal Jain, who left Congress, is considered close to Mahendrajit Singh Malviya.

Chandmal Jain has sent his resignation letter to Rajasthan Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara for leaving the party. While leaving the party two weeks ago, Mahendrajit Singh Malviya had hinted that in the coming days, a large number of people will leave Congress and join BJP.

It is being considered a big political loss due to these two veterans leaving Congress before the general elections. 55 year old Chandmal Jain is considered to have a strong hold on the voters of Banswara region. After Mahendrajit Singh Malviya joined BJP, there was speculation about many Congress leaders leaving the party. He had also expressed this without taking name.

Chandmal Jain is counted among the close friends of Mahendrajit Singh Malviya. Earlier, after Malviya left the party, BJP has given him a place in the list of candidates released for 15 seats in Rajasthan. BJP has made him the Lok Sabha candidate from Banswara.

Mahendrajit Singh Malviya has earlier scored a hat-trick of consecutive victories in the elections and has also been an MP on Congress ticket. Presently Kanakamal Katara is the MP from BJP from Banswara seat. Mahendrajit Singh Malviya is considered to have a strong hold in Mewar and Vagad of Rajasthan.

According to the reports published in the media, Mahendrajit Singh Malviya is considered to have a strong hold on about 18 assembly seats including the tribal areas of the state. Apart from this, he is considered to have a strong hold in the tribal areas bordering Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
