दौसा-गंगापुर रेल परियोजना के तहत राजस्थान में बनाई गई सबसे बड़ी टनल में 120 किलामीटर प्रति घंटे की स्पीड से रेल इंजन को दौड़ाकर ट्रायल कर लिया गया है. यह ट्रायल पूरी तरह से सफल रहा. इस टनल की लंबाई 2 हजार 171 मीटर है. ट्रायल के दौरान इंजन की रफ्तार को 120 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे पर जांचा गया. अब ये टनल पूरी तरह से रेल के आवागमन के लिए तैयार है. जल्द ही इस टनल को ट्रेनों के लिए खोल दिया जाएगा. टनल में 120 किमी की रफ्तार से दौड़ाए गए ट्रेन के इंजन की वीडियो भी सामने गया है.

दौसा-गंगापुर रेल परियोजना के तहत यह टनल लालसोट इलाके के डिडवाना से इंदावा गांव के बीच में स्थित पहाड़ में बनाई गई है. यह राजस्थान की सबसे बड़ी सुरंग है. इस रेलवे ट्रैक पर पूर्व में ट्रेनों को तेज गति से दौड़ाकर जांचा गया था. लेकिन सुरंग में से ट्रेन या इंजन को नहीं दौड़ाया गया था. रविवार को इस सुरंग से ट्रेन के इंजन को स्पीड में दौड़ाकर इसकी मजबूती और अन्य सुरक्षा मापदंडों का परीक्षण किया गया.

यह परियोजना 28 साल पहले वर्ष 1996 में स्वीकृत की गई थी. उस समय इसकी लागत 200 करोड़ रुपये आंकी गई थी. लेकिन इस परियोजना को पूरा होते-होते 28 साल लग गए. इस समय तक इस योजना की लागत बढ़कर 826 करोड़ रुपये तक जा पहुंची. यह पूरी परियोजना करीब 92.67 किलोमीटर लंबी रेलवे ट्रैक की है. इस ट्रैक पर नांगल राजावतान, डिडवाना, लालसौट बनौरी, बनियाना, सलेमपुर, पिपलाई, मंडावरी, उदयकलां, बामनवास और बामनवास रेलवे स्टेशन बनाए गए हैं.

इसी परियोजना के तहत यहां लालसोट से डिडवाना तक राजस्थान की सबसे लंबी सुरंग बनाई गई है. इस परियोजना से अहमदाबाद-दिल्ली और दिल्ली-मुंबई रेलवे ट्रैक एक दूसरे से आपस में जुड़ जाएंगे. इससे आने वाले समय में लंबे दूरी की गाड़ियों के इस मार्ग से निकलने की संभावनाएं बढ़ जाएंगी. इससे दौसा और गंगापुर के साथ नए बने स्टेशनों को भी बड़ा फायदा मिलेगा.

Now this tunnel is completely ready for rail traffic. Soon this tunnel will be opened for trains. A video of the train engine running at a speed of 120 km in the tunnel has also surfaced.

Under the Dausa-Gangapur Railway Project, this tunnel has been built in the mountain located between Didwana and Indawa village of Lalsot area. This is the biggest tunnel of Rajasthan. Earlier, trains were tested by running them at high speed on this railway track. But the train or engine was not run through the tunnel. On Sunday, its strength and other safety parameters were tested by running the train engine at speed through this tunnel.

This project was approved 28 years ago in the year 1996. At that time its cost was estimated at Rs 200 crore. But this project took 28 years to complete. By this time the cost of this scheme had increased to Rs 826 crore. This entire project is about 92.67 kilometers long railway track. Nangal Rajawatan, Didwana, Lalsot Banauri, Banyana, Salempur, Piplai, Mandavari, Udaykalan, Bamanwas and Bamanwas railway stations have been built on this track.

Under this project, the longest tunnel of Rajasthan has been built from Lalsot to Didwana. Through this project, Ahmedabad-Delhi and Delhi-Mumbai railway tracks will be connected to each other. This will increase the chances of long distance trains passing through this route in the coming time. With this, the newly built stations along with Dausa and Gangapur will also get big benefit.
