आरबीआई की नई सुविधा, राजस्थान की जनता भी डाक से भेज सकेगी 2000 के नोट

राजस्थान की जनता को परेशानियों से बचने के लिए आरबीआइ की नई पहल। अब आम जनता 2,000 रुपए के नोट अपने बैंक खातों में जमा कराने के लिए एक फॉर्म के साथ बीमाकृत डाक के जरिए रिजर्व बैंक के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयों में भेजे जा सकते हैं। फॉर्म में दी गई जानकारी के आधार पर रकम खाते में जमा हो जाएगी। rbi के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयों से दूर रहने वाले लोगों के लिए आसान विकल्प है। आरबीआइ के क्षेत्रीय निदेशक रोहित पी. ने कहा, यह लोगों को शाखाओं तक जाने और कतार में लगने की परेशानियों से बचाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि आरबीआई अपने संचार में अपने कार्यालयों में विनिमय सुविधा के अलावा इन दो विकल्पों को फिर शामिल कर रहा है।

19 मई को आया था आदेश

आरबीआई ने 19 मई 2023 को 2,000 रुपए मूल्यवर्ग के बैंक नोट को चलन से वापस लेने की घोषणा की थी। इन नोटों को बैंकों में जमा करने के साथ अन्य मूल्य वर्ग के नोटों से बदलने की सुविधा लोगों को दी गई थी। इस तरह 19 मई, 2023 तक चलन में मौजूद 2,000 रुपए मूल्य के कुल नोट में से 97 प्रतिशत से अधिक नोट अब वापस आ चुके हैं।

सात अक्टूबर को बंद कर दी गई थीं यह सुविधा

इन नोटों को बदलने या बैंक खातों में जमा कराने की समय सीमा पहले 30 सितंबर थी। बाद में इसे 7 अक्टूबर तक बढ़ा दी गई। बैंक शाखाओं में जमा और विनिमय दोनों सेवाएं सात अक्टूबर को बंद कर दी गई थीं। अब आठ अक्टूबर से व्यक्तियों को आरबीआई के 19 कार्यालयों में मुद्रा का आदान-प्रदान करने या उनके बैंक खातों में समतुल्य राशि जमा करने का विकल्प प्रदान किया गया है।

The order came on 19 May

RBI had announced to withdraw Rs 2,000 denomination bank notes from circulation on May 19, 2023. People were given the facility to deposit these notes in banks and exchange them with notes of other denominations. In this way, more than 97 percent of the total notes worth Rs 2,000 in circulation till May 19, 2023 have now been returned.

This facility was closed on October 7

The deadline for exchanging these notes or depositing them in bank accounts was earlier September 30. Later it was extended till 7 October. Both deposit and exchange services in bank branches were closed on October 7. Now from October 8, individuals have been provided the option to exchange currency at 19 RBI offices or deposit the equivalent amount in their bank accounts.
