हाल ही में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने पूर्वी राजस्थान नहर परियोजना (ईआरसीपी) मुद्दे को खूब भुनाया। ईआरसीपी को राष्ट्रीय परियोजना घोषित करने की मांग को लेकर कांग्रेस पिछले कई सालों से केंद्र सरकार और भाजपा पर हमलावर रही। 16 अक्टूबर 2023 से लेकर 20 अक्टूबर 2023 तक कांग्रेस ने जनजागरण अभियान भी चलाया। कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे इस अभियान का शुभारंभ करने आए थे और दौसा में हुए समापन समारोह में कांग्रेस की राष्ट्रीय महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी भी शामिल हुई थी। बड़े अभियान के बावजूद कांग्रेस विधानसभा चुनाव में बहुमत हासिल नहीं कर सकी। लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले अब बीजेपी इस मुद्दे को भुनाएगी क्योंकि प्रदेश में भाजपा की सरकार बनने के बाद मध्यप्रदेश के साथ समझौता हो गया और पार्वती कालीसिंध चंबल प्रोजेक्ट के साथ मिलकर ईआरसीपी का अब नया प्रोजेक्ट बन गया है ,जिसे केंद्र सरकार की मंजूरी भी मिल चुकी है।

ईआरसीपी पर कांग्रेस कटघरे में
पीकेसी-ईआरसीपी के नए प्रोजेक्ट पर राजस्थान और मध्यप्रदेश के बीच एमओयू होने के बाद भाजपा कांग्रेस पर हमलावर हो गई है। भजनलाल सरकार के मंत्रियों, विधायकों और भाजपा नेताओं का आरोप है कि कांग्रेस ने जानबूझकर ईआरसीपी के प्रोजेक्ट को अटकाए रखा। ईआरसीपी को बार बार राष्ट्रीय परियोजना घोषित करने की मांग तो करते रहे लेकिन केंद्र सरकार द्वारा बुलाई गई बैठकों में राज्य सरकार के मंत्री और सचिव कभी शामिल ही नहीं हुए।

एक दिन पहले जलदाय मंत्री सुरेश सिंह रावत ने बताया कि पूर्ववर्ती कांग्रेस सरकार ने जानबूझकर इस परियोजना को अटकाए रखा। 12 नवंबर 2021 को दिल्ली में बैठक हुई और राज्य सरकार को बैठक में शामिल होने के लिए बुलाया गया था लेकिन ना तो मंत्री गए और ना ही सचिव को भेजा गया। इसी तरह 13 दिसंबर 2022, 27 नवंबर 2023 और 14 दिसंबर 2023 को दिल्ली में हुई बैठकों में राज्य सरकार शामिल होने के आमंत्रित किया गया लेकिन इन बैठकों में ना को तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत गए, ना जलदाय मंत्री को भेजा और ना ही सचिव को। रावत ने कहा कि पूर्ववर्ती सरकार केवल दिखावा ही करती रही।

लोकसभा की 9 सीटें साधने की तैयारी में भाजपा
ईआरसीपी के अंतर्गत राजस्थान के 13 जिले आते हैं जिनमें झालावाड़, कोटा, बूंदी, बारां, सवाई माधोपुर, करौली, धौलपुर, भरतपुर, दौसा, अलवर, जयपुर, अजमेर और टोंक शामिल हैं। इन 13 जिलों में 9 लोकसभा क्षेत्र आते हैं। बीजेपी अब पीकेसी-ईआरसीपी को लेकर राजस्थान और मध्यप्रदेश के बीच एमओयू साइन होने के बाद इसी मुद्दे को चुनाव में भुनाएगी। सरकार और संगठन की ओर से यह प्रचार किया जा रहा है कि प्रदेश में डबल इंजन की सरकार बनते ही ईआरसीपी का काम एक झटके में पूरा हो गया। बीजेपी इसका पूरा श्रेय ले रही है और कांग्रेस को कटघरे में खड़ा कर रही है।

शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम में पीएम मोदी होंगे शामिल
पीकेसी-ईआरसीपी को लेकर एमओयू साइन होने के बाद राजस्थान और मध्यप्रदेश सरकार की ओर से एक सामूहिक शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा। यह कार्यक्रम दोनों प्रदेशों की सीमा पर आयोजित करने की तैयारी चल रही है। इस शिलान्यास समारोह में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को आमंत्रित किया जाएगा। लोकसभा चुनाव को देखते हुए पीएम मोदी का इस शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम में शामिल होना तय माना जा रहा है। हालांकि अभी तक दिन और स्थान तय नहीं किए गए हैं।

After the MoU between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on the new PKC-ERCP project, BJP has attacked Congress. Ministers, MLAs and BJP leaders of Bhajan Lal government allege that Congress deliberately kept the ERCP project stuck. There were repeated demands for declaring ERCP as a national project but the ministers and secretaries of the state government never attended the meetings called by the Central Government.

A day ago, Water Supply Minister Suresh Singh Rawat said that the previous Congress government deliberately kept this project stuck. A meeting was held in Delhi on 12 November 2021 and the state government was called to attend the meeting but neither the minister went nor the secretary was sent. Similarly, the state government was invited to participate in the meetings held in Delhi on 13 December 2022, 27 November 2023 and 14 December 2023, but neither the then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot went to these meetings, nor sent the Water Supply Minister nor the Secretary. Rawat said that the previous government was only pretending.

BJP preparing to win 9 Lok Sabha seats
13 districts of Rajasthan come under ERCP which include Jhalawar, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Dausa, Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer and Tonk. There are 9 Lok Sabha constituencies in these 13 districts. BJP will now capitalize on this issue in the elections after the MoU is signed between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh regarding PKC-ERCP. It is being propagated by the government and the organization that as soon as the double engine government was formed in the state, the work of ERCP was completed in one go. PM Modi will participate in the foundation stone laying program
