बीकानेर, कोटा में आयोजित हुई राज्य स्तरीय जूनियर अंडर 15-20 कुश्ती प्रतियोगिता में बीकानेर के 11 पहलवानों ने अपने-अपने भार वर्ग में मेडल प्राप्त किए हैं। इसमें एक महिला पहलवान भी शामिल हैं। जिला कुश्ती संगम के सचिव जगन पूनियां ने बताया कि परमेश्वर पूनिया ने (गोल्ड) प्रदीप दान, आदित्य तावणीयां ने (सिल्वर) जेठाराम, भागीरथ, पुरुषोत्तम, अभिजीत, योगेश, संदीप, इंद्रसेन समेत महिला पहलवान महिमा जाखड़ ने (ब्रांज) मेडल लिए हैं। इन सभी के मेडल मिलने पर खेल संगठनों में खुशी की लहर है। 

बीकानेर जिला कुश्ती संगम के अध्यक्ष कमल कल्ला, मानसिंह सियाग, नवलराम सियाग, जसविंदर सिंह, सुशील कुमार डूड्डी, भवानी सिंह चौहान, प्रदीप कुमार स्वामी, अमर सिंह गोदारा, प्रदीप सिंह चौहान, पालाराम गोदारा, लक्ष्मण सारस्वत, रामप्रसाद, राजेंद्र सिंह राठौड़, रामप्रताप, नेमपाल सियाणा, रोमन घोड़ेला, राजू सिंह, नारायण सिंह भूट्टा, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता दिनेश सिंह भदोरिया, नरेंद्र कुमार देवड़ा, पत्रकार गोवर्धन सोनी समेत खेल जगत से जुड़े लोगों ने पहलवानों को मेडल मिलने पर खुशी प्रकट की है। 

पहलवान महावीर कुमार सहदेव ने बताया कि लगातार बीकानेर के पहलवान काफी समय से कुश्ती मैं राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मेडल ला रहे हैं। यह सब पहलवानों की लगन और गुरुजनों द्वारा पहलवानों के अभ्यास से ही संभव हो पाया है। आज एक साथ बीकानेर को 11 मेडल प्राप्त हुए हैं, वहीं महिला पहलवान भी मेडल में पीछे नहीं हैं। लगातार महिला पहलवानों को भी मेडल मिल रहे हैं, जो अपने आप में गौरवशाली है। 

सहदेव ने बताया कि यह सभी पहलवान राष्ट्रीय स्तर की कुश्ती प्रतियोगिता में अपना दम-खम दिखाएंगे और पूरी उम्मीद है कि यह बीकानेर के पहलवान राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी मेडल प्राप्त करेंगे। पटेल बाल विहार व्यायामशाला के संचालक गुरु जगन पूनियां को आज चंहूं और से इन पहलवानों के मेडल मिलने पर बधाइयां मिल रही हैं। एक साथ बीकानेर को 11 मेडल मिलने पर राज्य स्तरीय कुश्ती प्रतियोगिता के मंच पर पहलवानों के गुरु जगन पूनियां पटेल बाल विहार व्यायामशाला के संचालक का विशेष सम्मान किया गया। आगामी कार्यक्रम में इन सभी पहलवानों का सम्मान पटेल बाल बिहार व्यायामशाला में किया जाएगा।

Wrestler Mahavir Kumar Sahdev said that the wrestlers of Bikaner have been continuously bringing medals in wrestling at national and international level for a long time. All this has been possible only due to the dedication of the wrestlers and the practice of the wrestlers by the teachers. Today, Bikaner has received 11 medals, while women wrestlers are also not behind in medals. Women wrestlers are also getting medals continuously, which is glorious in itself.

Sahdev said that all these wrestlers will show their strength in the national level wrestling competition and there is full hope that these wrestlers from Bikaner will get medals at the national level also. Guru Jagan Poonia, director of Patel Bal Vihar Gymnasium, is receiving congratulations from Chanhun and other places today on receiving the medals of these wrestlers. When Bikaner got 11 medals together, the director of the wrestlers' guru Jagan Poonia Patel Bal Vihar Gymnasium was given special honor on the stage of the state level wrestling competition. All these wrestlers will be honored in the upcoming program at Patel Bal Bihar Gymnasium.
