सुदर्शनानगर में शराब ठेके विरोध में कलेक्ट्रेट पर प्रदर्शन 

बीकानेर। सुदर्शनानगर वार्ड 8 में शराब का ठेके के विरोध में कॉलोनी के बाशिंदों ने सोमवार को कलेक्ट्रेट पर प्रदर्शन किया। बजुर्गों और महिलाओं ने एसपी और एडीएम सिटी को ज्ञापन देकर बताया कि जिला आबकारी अधिकारी को शिकायत करने के बाद भी उनके मोहल्ले में शराब का ठेका मंजूर कर दिया गया है, जिससे मोहल्ले का वातावरण अशांत हो गया है।

पास में पहले से ही शराब का एक अन्य ठेका चल रहा है, जिसकी वजह से सुबह सात बजे से रात 12 बजे तक वहां शराबियों को जमावड़ा रहता है। पास में शिव मंदिर हैं, जहां महिलाएं और बुजुर्ग सुबह-शाम जाते हैं, लेकिन शराब ठेके कारण असहज रहते हैं। हमेशा डर बना रहता है। रात के समय लोग कॉलोनी की गलियों में गाड़ियां लगाकर शराब पीते हैं और तेज आवाज में स्टीरियो बजाकर कॉलोनी का वातावरण खराब करते हैं।

 मोहल्लेवासियों ने बताया कि शराब ठेके कारण सरकारी जमीन पर अतिक्रमण कर लोगों ने नॉनवेज की दुकानें लगा ली हैं। अनैतिक काम होते हैं। पुलिस गश्त की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है। लोगों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि ठेका अन्यत्र शिफ्ट नहीं किया गया तो मुख्य मार्ग जाम कर प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा। ज्ञापन देने वालों में वार्ड पार्षद जमनलाल गजरा, बनवारी शर्मा, योगेश कुमावत, ममता, शिव प्रसाद भोजक, सुशील गोस्वामी, खुशबू शर्मा, विमला गोस्वामी, बीएल उपाध्याय, चंद्र शंकर शर्मा, जीवण आदि लोग शामिल थे।

Demonstration at the Collectorate against liquor vends in Sudarshananagar

Bikaner. Residents of the colony demonstrated at the Collectorate on Monday in protest against the liquor vend in Sudarshannagar Ward 8. The elderly and women gave a memorandum to the SP and ADM City, saying that despite complaining to the District Excise Officer, the liquor contract has been approved in their locality, due to which the atmosphere of the locality has become disturbed.

Another liquor vend is already running nearby, due to which there is a gathering of alcoholics there from 7 am to 12 midnight. There is a Shiva temple nearby, where women and elders go in the morning and evening, but are uncomfortable due to liquor vends. There is always fear. At night, people park their vehicles in the streets of the colony, drink alcohol and play loud stereos, spoiling the environment of the colony.

Residents of the locality said that due to liquor vends, people have encroached on government land and set up non-veg shops. Immoral acts happen. There is no system of police patrolling. People have warned that if the contract is not shifted elsewhere, they will protest by blocking the main road. Those who submitted the memorandum included Ward Councilor Jamanlal Gajra, Banwari Sharma, Yogesh Kumawat, Mamta, Shiv Prasad Bhojak, Sushil Goswami, Khushboo Sharma, Vimala Goswami, BL Upadhyay, Chandra Shankar Sharma, Jeevan etc.
