राजस्थान के श्रीगंगानगर जिले के गांव साहूवाला में विवाद के चलते गुरुवार देर रात एक दामाद ने अपने ससुर की चाकू के वार से हत्या कर दी। आरोपी वारदात के बाद फरार हो गया। जानकारी मिलने पर देर रात पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव श्रीगंगानगर के सरकारी अस्पताल की मोर्च्यूरी में रखवाया है। शुक्रवार दोपहर बाद तक पुलिस पोस्टमार्टम की कार्रवाई में जुटी थी।

बेटी को बसाने को लेकर विवाद
गांव साहूवाला के रहने वाले वेदप्रकाश उर्फ विनोद (45) ने अपनी बेटी का विवाह छह साल पूर्व हनुमानगढ़ जिले के नोहर इलाके के गांव भूकरका में सुभाष पुत्र ओम के साथ किया था। सुभाष का अपनी पत्नी से विवाह के बाद से विवाद था। इसी विवाद के चलते वेदप्रकाश ने अपने दामाद सुभाष को कई बार समझाया, लेकिन बात नहीं बनी।

उसने वेदप्रकाश की बेटी को अपने साथ रखने से ही इनकार कर दिया। इस पर नाराज वेद प्रकाश और दामाद सुभाष के बीच पिछले काफी समय से विवाद चल रहा था। सुभाष पत्नी को साथ नहीं रखता था। उसके कोई संतान भी नही थी, ऐसे में वह भूकरका में अकेला रहता था।

घर में घुसकर कर दिए चाकू से वार
विवाद इतना बढ़ा कि दोनों एक दूसरे से दुश्मनी रखने लगे। गुरुवार देर रात सुभाष अपने ससुर वेदप्रकाश को मारने के इरादे से गांव भूकरका से साहूवाला आया। यहां वह अपने ससुराल पहुंचा और दीवार फांदकर अंदर घुस गया। परिवार में ससुर वेद प्रकाश और परिवार के अन्य लोग सोए हुए थो। सुभाष अपने साथ चाकू लेकर गया। उसने चाकू के ताबड़तोड़ वार किए। इससे वेद प्रकाश की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

पुलिस ने शव को सरकारी अस्पताल में रखवाया
जानकारी मिलने पर सदर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और साक्ष्य जुटाने शुरू किए। शव सरकारी अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में रखवाया गया। पुलिस टीम दोपहर बाद तक कार्रवाई में जुटी थी। एसएचओ बलवंतराम ने बताया कि सदर थाना क्षेत्र के गांव साहूवाला में हत्या हुई है। शव का पोस्टमार्टम करवाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। दामाद ने ही ससुर की हत्या कर दी है।

A son-in-law killed his father-in-law with a knife late on Thursday night due to a dispute in Sahuwala village of Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan. The accused absconded after the incident. On getting the information, the police reached the spot late night and the body has been kept in the mortuary of the government hospital in Sriganganagar. Till Friday afternoon, the police was engaged in postmortem action.

Controversy over settling the daughter
Vedprakash alias Vinod (45), a resident of village Sahuwala, had married his daughter six years ago to Subhash's son Om at village Bhukarka in Nohar area of Hanumangarh district. Subhash had a dispute with his wife since his marriage. Due to this dispute, Vedprakash explained to his son-in-law Subhash many times, but the matter did not work.

He refused to keep Vedprakash's daughter with him. There was a dispute going on between the angry Ved Prakash and son-in-law Subhash for a long time. Subhash did not keep his wife with him. He did not even have any children, so he lived alone in Bhukarka.

The dispute increased so much that both started having enmity with each other. Late on Thursday night, Subhash came from village Bhukarka to Sahuwala with the intention of killing his father-in-law Vedprakash. Here he reached his in-laws house and entered inside by jumping over the wall. Father-in-law Ved Prakash and other members of the family were sleeping. Subhash took a knife with him. He made rapid attacks of the knife. Due to this, Ved Prakash died on the spot.

Police kept the dead body in government hospital
On receiving the information, Sadar police station reached the spot and started collecting evidence. The dead body was kept in the mortuary of the government hospital. The police team was engaged in action till afternoon. SHO Balwantram said that the murder took place in village Sahuwala of Sadar police station area. Preparations are being made to get the post-mortem done on the dead body. The son-in-law has killed the father-in-law.
