प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रस्तावित पिथौरागढ़ भ्रमण के दौरान उनके विश्वप्रसिद्ध जागेश्वर धाम में पूजा-अर्चना करने की भी संभावना है। पीएम के जागेश्वर धाम आने को लेकर जिला प्रशासन ने तैयारियां शुरू कर दी हैं। इस संबंध में डीएम ने अधिकारियों की बैठक ली। डीएम विनीत तोमर ने विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों को जिम्मेदारियां सौंपी हैं। डीएम ने जागेश्वर धाम में पूजा करने वाले पंडितों की लिस्ट भी मंदिर समिति से मांगी है। इस सूची में से ही पंडितों का चयन किया जाएगा जो जागेश्वर धाम में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की पूजा कराएंगे। इसके साथ ही महिला समूहों से स्टॉल लगाने को कहा गया है।

जिला प्रशासन के मुताबिक पीएम 12 अक्तूबर को जागेश्वर धाम आ सकते हैं। पीएम के दौरे को देखते हुए डीएम विनीत तोमर ने शौकियाथल स्थित मैदान का निरीक्षण किया। यहीं पीएम मोदी की एमआई 17 हेली की फ्लीट लैंड कर सकती है। यहां से डीएम विभागीय अधिकारियों के साथ जागेश्वर मंदिर पहुंचे। यहां उन्होंने पीएम के पूजा ग्रह के साथ परिक्रमा स्थल का मुआयना किया।

सेफ हाउस बनाने का दिया निर्देश

जागेश्वर धाम में पूजा-अर्चना के साथ ही पीएम मोदी धाम की परिक्रमा भी करेंगे। डीएम ने मंदिर समिति को पंडितों की सूची प्रस्तुत करने को कहा है। सूची मिलने के बाद ही पीएम को पूजा कराने वाले पंडितों का चयन किया जाएगा। डीएम तोमर ने अधिकारियों से मास्टर प्लान के तहत होने वाले कार्यों की जानकारी ली। मंदिर समिति को अपने स्तर से व्यवस्था चाक-चौबंद करने के निर्देश दिए। इसके बाद डीएम टीआरसी पहुंचे। यहां उन्होंने सेफ हाउस बनाने के निर्देश दिए। इसके बाद हुई बैठक में अधिकारियों के लिए जिम्मेदारी तय की गई।

जागेश्वर धाम का महत्व

मंदिरों के समूह और ज्योतिर्लिंगों के लिए जागेश्वर धाम का नाम पहचाना जाता है। जागेश्वर धाम भगवान शिव के ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक माना जाता है। यह मंदिर लगभग ढाई हजार वर्ष पुराना है। मान्यता है कि यह प्रथम मंदिर है. जहां लिंग के रूप में शिव पूजन की परंपरा सबसे पहले शुरू हुई थी। इस स्थल को भगवान शिव की तपस्थली भी कहा जाता है। हालांकि इस मंदिर में भगवान शिव के साथ विष्णु, देवी शक्ति और सूर्य देवता की पूजा की जाती है। एएसआई के अनुसार यह मंदिर पूर्व मध्यकालीन और गुप्तोत्तर युग के हैं। इनका अधिकांश निर्माण और जीर्णोद्धार कत्युरी वंश के राजाओं ने किया था।

दूसरों का बुरा करने की मान्यता होती थी पूरी

जागेश्वर धाम को पुराणों में हाटकेश्वर के नाम से जाना जाता है। समुद्र तल से लगभग 6200 फुट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित जागेश्वर धाम की नैसर्गिक सुंदरता अतुलनीय है। पुराणों के अनुसार भगवान भोलेनाथ और सप्त ऋषियों ने यहां पर तपस्या की थी। प्राचीन समय में जागेश्वर मंदिर में मांगी गई मन्नतें उसी रूप में स्वीकार हो जाती थी, जिसका भारी दुरुपयोग हो रहा था। यहां तक कि दूसरों के अमंगल के लिए मांगी गई मनोकामना भी पूरी होती थी। आठवीं सदी में आदि शंकराचार्य जब जागेश्वर धाम आए तो उन्होंने यहां पर महामृत्युंजय में स्थापित शिवलिंग को कीलीत कर दिया। ताकि इसके दुरुपयोग को रोका जा सके। शंकराचार्य द्वारा कीलित किए जाने के बाद से अब यहां दूसरों के लिए बुरी कामना करने वालों की मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण नहीं होती। केवल यज्ञ एवं अनुष्ठान से मंगल मनोकामना करने वाले का ही उद्धार होता है।

कई मंदिरों का समूह

अल्मोड़ा जनपद से लगभग 35 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित जागेश्वर धाम में लगभग ढाई सौ छोटे-बड़े मंदिरों का समूह है। इनमें से एक ही स्थान पर छोटे-बड़े 224 मंदिर हैं। 125 छोटे-बड़े मंदिरों के समूह में 108 शिवलिंग और 17 अन्य देवी देवताओं के मंदिर स्थित है।

According to the district administration, PM can come to Jageshwar Dham on October 12. In view of PM's visit, DM Vineet Tomar inspected the grounds located at Shokiathal. This is where PM Modi's fleet of MI 17 helicopters can land. From here the DM reached Jageshwar temple along with departmental officials. Here he inspected the parikrama site along with the PM's puja planet.

Instructions given to build safe house

Along with worshiping at Jageshwar Dham, PM Modi will also circumambulate the Dham. The DM has asked the temple committee to submit the list of Pandits. Only after receiving the list, the Pandits who will perform the puja for the PM will be selected. DM Tomar took information from the officials about the works to be done under the master plan. Instructed the temple committee to make arrangements at its level. After this the DM reached TRC. Here he gave instructions to build a safe house. In the meeting held after this, responsibilities for the officers were fixed.

Importance of Jageshwar Dham

The name of Jageshwar Dham is recognized for the group of temples and Jyotirlingas. Jageshwar Dham is considered to be one of the Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This temple is about two and a half thousand years old. It is believed that this is the first temple. Where the tradition of worshiping Shiva in the form of Linga first started. This place is also called the penance place of Lord Shiva. However, in this temple, along with Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Goddess Shakti and Sun God are worshiped. According to ASI, this temple belongs to the early medieval and post-Gupta era. Most of their construction and renovation were done by the kings of Katyuri dynasty.

Jageshwar Dham is known as Hatkeshwar in the Puranas. The natural beauty of Jageshwar Dham, situated at a height of about 6200 feet above sea level, is incomparable. According to the Puranas, Lord Bholenath and seven sages had performed penance here. In ancient times, the vows made in Jageshwar temple were accepted in the same form, which was being misused heavily. Even the wishes made for the ill-effects of others were fulfilled. When Adi Shankaracharya came to Jageshwar Dham in the eighth century, he nailed the Shivalinga established here in Mahamrityunjaya. So that its misuse can be prevented. After being established by Shankaracharya, now the wishes of those who wish bad for others are not fulfilled here. Only the one who wishes auspicious things through Yagya and rituals gets salvation.
