युवक से मारपीट, शराब का ठेका हटाने को लेकर लोगों ने किया रास्‍ता जाम

बीकानेर के नयाशहर पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में जस्‍सूसर गेट रोड पर स्थित शराब की दुकान के पास बीती रात एक युवक के साथ हुई मारपीट की घटना को लेकर आज स्‍थानीय लोगों ने रास्‍ता जाम कर दिया और धरने पर बैठ गए। मारपीट के मामले में पुलिस की ओर से कार्यवाही नहीं करने तथा शराब के ठेके के कारण हो रही अशांति को लेकर लोग आक्रोशित नजर आए।

धरनार्थियों ने बताया कि बीती रात को स्थानीय युवक के साथ मारपीट की गई। जिससे युवक के सिर पर चोटें आ गई। देर रात इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दे दी गई लेकिन आरोपियों के खिलाफ कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की।

लोगों ने बताया कि यहां स्थित शराब के ठेके पर अवैध रूप से भी शराब बेची जाती है। इसके अलावा असामाजिक तत्‍व भी दिनभर यहां घूमते हैं। इसलिए क्षेत्र के लोगों को और महिलाओं को परेशानी हो रही है। धरनार्थियों ने युवक से मारपीट करने वालों को जल्‍द गिरफ्तार करने तथा शराब का ठेका हटाने की मांग की है।

People blocked the road for assault on young man and removal of liquor vend.

Today, local people blocked the road and sat on strike over the incident of assault on a youth last night near the liquor shop located on Jassusar Gate Road in Nayashahr police station area of Bikaner. People appeared angry over the police not taking action in the case of assault and the unrest due to liquor vends.

Protesters told that a local youth was beaten up last night. Due to which the young man got head injuries. Police were informed about this late in the night but no action was taken against the accused.

People said that liquor is also sold illegally at the liquor vends located here. Apart from this, anti-social elements also roam here throughout the day. Therefore the people and women of the area are facing problems. The protestors have demanded immediate arrest of those who assaulted the youth and removal of liquor vends.
