अब इस तारीख तक बदलें जाएंगे नोट 2000 के नोट, आरबीआई ने जारी किया नया सर्कुलर

जयपुर। रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया यानी RBI ने 2000 रुपये के नोटों को बदलने को लेकर बड़ा फैसला लिया है. पहले जहां RBI ने 2000 के नोट बदलने की आखिरी तारीख 30 सितंबर तय की थी, वहीं आखिरी दिन सर्कुलर के जरिए समय सीमा को 7 अक्टूबर 2023 तक बढ़ा दिया गया है. यानि RBI ने 2000 के नोट बदलने की डेडलाइन एक हफ्ते के लिए बढ़ा दी.

RBI की ओर से जारी आंकड़े के अनुसार मई से 29 सितंबर तक बैंकों में लगभग 3.42 लाख करोड़ रुपये के 2000 रुपये के नोट वापस आ गए थे. बता दें कि मई महीने में रिजर्व बैंक ने 2000 रुपये के नोट को वापस लेने का ऐलान किया था, जिसके बाद लोगों ने फटाफट 2000 रुपये के नोट को बैंकों में जमा कराने शुरू कर दिए थे.

आखिरी तारीख अब 7 अक्टूबर 

रिजर्व बैंक ने ताजा बयान जारी कर कहा कि नई डेडलाइन खत्म होने के बाद 2000 रुपये के बैंक नोटों को जमा/बदलने की प्रक्रिया बंद कर दी जाएगी. ऐसे में अगर आपके पास यानी 8 अक्टूबर 2023 के बाद 2000 रुपये के नोट पड़े रहते हैं तो बस वह कागज का टुकड़ा मात्र रह जाएगा.

Jaipur. Reserve Bank of India i.e. RBI has taken a big decision regarding changing the notes of Rs 2000. While earlier the RBI had fixed September 30 as the last date for exchanging Rs 2000 notes, on the last day through a circular the deadline has been extended till October 7, 2023. That means RBI extended the deadline for exchanging Rs 2000 notes by a week.

According to the data released by RBI, from May to September 29, Rs 2000 notes worth about Rs 3.42 lakh crore were returned to the banks. Let us tell you that in the month of May, the Reserve Bank had announced the withdrawal of Rs 2000 notes, after which people immediately started depositing Rs 2000 notes in banks.

Last date is now 7th October

The Reserve Bank issued a fresh statement saying that after the end of the new deadline, the process of depositing/exchange of Rs 2000 bank notes will be stopped. In such a situation, if you have Rs 2000 notes lying around after 8th October 2023, then it will remain just a piece of paper.
