बीकानेर। विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले बदमाशों को हिरासत में लेने का अभियान चलाया गया। एक ही दिन में चार सौ चालीस पुलिसकर्मियों ने करीब साढ़े चार सौ स्थानों पर दबिश दी और ढाई सौ बदमाशों को गिरफ्तार किया।पुलिस अधीक्षक तेजस्वनी गौतम ने बताया कि एरिया डोमिनेसन अभियान के तहत अलसुबह पुलिसकर्मियों ने दबिश देने का सिलसिला शुरू किया।
इस दौरान जिले भर के 440 पुलिसकर्मियों ने 170 टीम बनाई थी। हर पुलिस थाने ने अपने क्षेत्र के बदमाशों को पहले से लिस्ट में शामिल कर लिया था। शुक्रवार सुबह जल्दी पहुंचकर पुलिस ने गिरफ्तारियां शुरू कर दी थी। इस दौरान 450 स्थानों पर दबिश दी गई। अभियान में एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत 4 लोगों की गिरफ्तारी की गई, आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत दो गिरफ्तारी हुई, वहीं एक से अवैध हथियार बरामद किया गया।
लम्बे समय से फरार चल रहे कुल 38 स्थाई वारंटियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अन्य प्रकरणों में फरार और अदालत की ओर से वारंटी अभियुक्तों की भी धरपकड़ की गई। ऐसे 119 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। अभियान में सबसे ज्यादा सख्ती हिस्ट्रीशीटर्स पर थी। शुक्रवार को भी 141 हिस्ट्रीशीटर के यहां पुलिस टीम पहुंची। अन्य साधारण प्रकरणों में कुल तीन व्यक्ति तथा निरोधात्मक कार्रवाई में 14 नों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। 250 लोगों की गिरफ्तारी की की गई।

The police arrived early on Friday morning and started making arrests. During this period, 450 places were raided. In the operation, four people were arrested under the NDPS Act, two were arrested under the Arms Act, while illegal weapons were recovered from one.
A total of 38 permanent warrantees, who were absconding for a long time, have been arrested. In other cases, absconding and court-warranted accused were also arrested. 119 such people were arrested. The campaign was most stringent on history-sheeters. On Friday also the police team reached the place of 141 history sheeter. A total of three persons were arrested in other ordinary cases and 14 in preventive action. 250 people were arrested.
