अवैध संबंधों के शक के चलते पत्नी को पति ने उतारा मौत के घाट, गिरफ्तार

श्रीगंगानगर  सूरतगढ़ के सदर थाना क्षेत्र के गांव 5SLD की रोही में रविवार को हुई एक महिला की हत्या के आरोपी पति को सदर पुलिस ने सोमवार शाम को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। वहीं सदर पुलिस ने पीहर पक्ष के आने के बाद मृतका के शव का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर परिजनों के सुपुर्द कर दिया। 

थानाधिकारी चंद्रभान धुंआ ने बताया कि गांव पांच एसएलडी की रोही में स्थित ढाणी में घरेलू विवाद के चलते पति-पत्नी के बीच झगड़ा इस कदर बढ़ गया कि पति सुभाष चंद्र ने पत्नी उर्मिला की कस्सी से सिर में वार कर हत्या कर दी थी। मृतका उर्मिला (46) दक्षिणी दिल्ली के संजय कॉलोनी, भाटी माइंस इलाके की निवासी थी।

वहीं इस वारदात के बाद आरोपी पति सुभाष चंद्र पुत्र हजारी राम मौके से फरार हो गया था। जिसकी पुलिस सोमवार को समूचे दिन तलाश में जुटी थी। इस बीच सूचना मिली कि आरोपी सुभाष चंद्र रायसिंहनगर इलाके में देखा गया है। जिस पर पुलिस टीम ने वहां पहुंचकर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

अवैध संबंधों के चलते तीन साल से चल था विवाद

एसएचओ ने बताया कि आरोपी सुभाष चंद्र ने पूछताछ में बताया है कि उसे अपनी पत्नी उर्मिला पर किसी अन्य के साथ अवैध संबंधों को लेकर शक था। जिसे लेकर दोनों के बीच करीब 3 साल से अनबन चल रही थी। घटनाक्रम के अनुसार रविवार दोपहर खेत में कार्य कर जब सुभाष चंद्र ढाणी में आया तो किसी बात को लेकर दोनों में फिर विवाद हो गया। 

इस दौरान तैश में आकर सुभाष ने उर्मिला के सर पर वार कर दिया जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। थानाधिकारी धुंआ ने बताया कि घटना के बाद पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मुआयना कर मृतका के पीहर पक्ष को मामले की जानकारी दी। उनके आने के बाद शव को पोस्टमार्टम के बाद परिजनों के सुपुर्द किया गया। इसे लेकर पुलिस ने मृतका के पुत्र की ओर से पिता के खिलाफ हत्या का केस दर्ज कर जान शुरू की है।

Husband kills wife on suspicion of illicit relations, arrested

Sadar police arrested the husband accused of murder of a woman on Sunday in village 5SLD Rohi of Sadar police station area of Sriganganagar, Suratgarh, on Monday evening. After the arrival of Pehar Paksha, Sadar police got the post-mortem of the dead body done and handed it over to the family members.

Police officer Chandrabhan Dhuya said that due to a domestic dispute in Dhani located in village 5 SLD Rohi, the fight between husband and wife escalated to such an extent that husband Subhash Chandra killed his wife Urmila by hitting her on the head with a knife. The deceased Urmila (46) was a resident of Sanjay Colony, Bhati Mines area of South Delhi.

After this incident, the accused husband Subhash Chandra son Hazari Ram had fled from the spot. Whose police was busy searching the whole day on Monday. Meanwhile, information was received that accused Subhash Chandra has been seen in Raisinghnagar area. On which the police team reached there and arrested the accused.

The dispute was going on for three years due to illicit relations.

SHO said that accused Subhash Chandra has told during interrogation that he suspected his wife Urmila of having illicit relations with someone else. Due to which there was a rift between the two for about 3 years. According to the incident, when Subhash Chandra came to Dhani after working in the fields on Sunday afternoon, there was a dispute between the two again over some issue.

During this time, in a fit of rage, Subhash hit Urmila on the head, due to which she died on the spot. Police officer Dhuan said that after the incident, the police reached the spot and after inspection informed the relatives of the deceased about the matter. After their arrival, the body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem. Regarding this, the police have registered a case of murder against the father on behalf of the deceased's son.
