जयपुर। अपनी बात बेबाकी से रखने के लिए मशहूर और राजनीति के अलावा भी कई क्षेत्रों में हमेशा चर्चा में रहने वाले कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता केरल के तिरुवनंतपुरम के सांसद शशि थरूर ने कहा कि हमारी पार्टी पर हिंदू विरोधी होने का आरोप गलत है, हमारी पार्टी कांग्रेस में अस्सी प्रतिशत से अधिक नेता हिंदू ही हैं, तो पार्टी हिंदू विरोधी कैसे हो सकती है। हां, यह स्टैंड जरूर है कि भारत 80 प्रतिशत हिंदुओं का देश हैं, लेकिन 20 प्रतिशत गैर हिंदुओं का भी सम्मान है। संविधान में सबको बराबरी का अधिकार है।

थरूर ने रविवार शाम जेएलएफ में मीडिया से बातचीत में ‘रोमांस’ पर नॉवेल लिखने के सवाल पर कहा कि उन्होंने करीब 21 साल पहले रायट (ROIT) नॉवेल लिखा था, जिससे सब लोग समझे थे कि इसमें रोमांस नहीं होगा, दंगा ही दंगा होगा, अलबत्ता इसमें एक कपल का प्रेम भी था, जिसके बारे में लोगों ने पढ़कर जाना। अभी देश में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दे हैं जिन पर लिखा जाना चाहिए, जिन्हें तवज्जो दी जानी चाहिए। हां, अगर जनता ने मुझे राजनीति से विदा कर दिया तो मैं जरूर फिर से लिखने लगूंगा, और शायद तब रोमांस पर भी लिखूंगा।

राम मंदिर पर यह बोले थरूर राम मंदिर पर बात करते हुए थरूर ने कहा कि राम मंदिर को राजनीतिक मंच बनाया गया। प्रधानमंत्री पुरोहित थोड़े हैं, जो वे पूजा करने गए थे। मैं अयोध्या चुनाव के बाद जाऊंगा। मैं मंदिर प्रार्थना करने जाता हूं, राजनीति करने नहीं।

लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए यह रणनीति
शशि थरूर ने विपक्षी एकता का हवाला देकर केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि 2024 में जनता तय करेगी कि उनके लिए सही विकल्प क्या है? हम 2024 में लोगों से कहेंगे, रामलला के बारे में मत सोचिए। यह सोचिए कि आपकी जेब में कितना पैसा है? आपको रोजगार मिला? आपका बैंक अकाउंट कितना है? क्या आपकी जिंदगी बेहतर हुई या नहीं हुई? मुझे विश्वास है कि अगर यह सवाल पूछेंगे, तो जवाब अलग मिलेगा।

समाधान देने वाले विकल्प की जरूरत
कांग्रेस नेता शशि थरूर ने चिंता जताई है कि भारत के संवैधानिक ढांचे में बदलाव किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि बहुमत की आड़ में देश चुनावी लोकतंत्र के बजाय चुनावी तानाशाही में बदल रहा है। भारतीय राजनीतिक परिदृश्य व्यक्ति केंद्रित हो गया है। अब देश को एक ऐसे वैकल्पिक नेतृत्व की जरूरत है, जो जनता जनार्दन की बात सुने, उसकी जरूरतों को समझे और समाधान निकाले।
