राजस्थान को रेल बजट में अजमेर मंडल के लिए नई रेल लाइन बिछाने की एक बड़ी सौगात मिली है जहां इसके तहत तीन सेक्शन में नई रेल लाइन बिछाने के लिए 200 करोड़ 3 लाख रुपए का बजट आवंटित किया गया है. बताया जा रहा है कि इस बजट में अब टोंक जिले का सालों पुराना सपना साकार होने जा रहा है. बता दें कि रेल बजट के बाद टोंक रेलवे लाइन से अजमेर और सवाई माधोपुर से सीधा जुड़ पाएगा.

वहीं पुष्कर-मेड़ता, अजमेर-कोटा और अजमेर-सवाई माधोपुर वाया टोंक रेल लाइन बिछाने के लिए बजट में आवंटन किया गया है. इस बीच राजस्थान के पूर्व डिप्टी सीएम सचिन पायलट ने भी सूबे के मुखिया को एक पत्र लिखा है. जानकारी के मुताबिक पायलट ने सवाई माधोपुर-टोंक एवं अजमेर रूट पर एक नई रेल लाइन की मांग की है. पायलट ने अपने पत्र में लिखा है कि इस लंबित परियोजना को जल्द से जल्द शुरू कराने का कष्ट करें जिससे लोगों को आवागमन की सुविधा मिलने के साथ ही इस क्षेत्र में औद्योगिक विकास को गति मिल सके.

मालूम हो कि केंद्र सरकार द्वारा 2013-14 के बजट में 165 किलोमीटर लंबाई की रेल अजमेर-नसीराबाद, बघेरा-टोडारायसिंह, टोंक-सवाई माधोपुर रेल परियोजना स्वीकृत हुई थी. इसके बाद सर्वे टीम ने इस रेल लाइन को लेकर एक रिपोर्ट भी तैयार कर ली थी लेकिन धरातल पर अभी तक परियोजना का काम शुरू नहीं हो पाया है.

टोंक और रेल की मांग का पुराना सिलसिला
इधर केंद्र सरकार ने राजस्थान के अजमेर-टोंक-चौथ का बरवाड़ा रेल परियोजना के लिए रेल बजट में 100 करोड़ एक लाख का आवंटन किया है. वहीं टोंक और रेल की मांग आज की नहीं है, ये मांग सालों से की जा रही है और हर लोकसभा व विधानसभा चुनावों में ये मुद्दा बनता है.

इसके साथ ही अब 2024 के हाल में पेश किए गए अंतरिम बजट में रेल को लेकर जो घोषणा हुई है उससे वहां की जनता में खुशी की लहर है. टोंक-सवाई माधोपुर के सांसद सुखबीर सिंह जौनापुरिया का कहना है कि देश के प्रधानमंत्री ने गारंटी दी है जिसके बाद टोंक को रेल से जोड़ने की दिशा में रेलमंत्री ने 100 करोड़ 1 लाख की राशि का आवंटन किया है.

Allocation has been made in the budget for laying Pushkar-Merta, Ajmer-Kota and Ajmer-Sawai Madhopur via Tonk rail lines. Meanwhile, former Deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot has also written a letter to the head of the state. According to the information, the pilot has demanded a new rail line on the Sawai Madhopur-Tonk and Ajmer route. Pilot has written in his letter that efforts should be made to start this pending project as soon as possible so that along with providing transportation facilities to the people, industrial development in this area can be accelerated.

It may be noted that the 165 km long Ajmer-Naseerabad, Baghera-Todaraisingh, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur rail project was approved by the Central Government in the budget of 2013-14. After this, the survey team had also prepared a report regarding this railway line, but the work on the project has not yet started on the ground.

Old series of demands for Tonk and Rail
Here, the Central Government has allocated Rs 100 crore 1 lakh in the railway budget for the Ajmer-Tonk-Chauth Barwada Railway Project of Rajasthan. At the same time, the demand for Tonk and Rail is not of today, this demand has been made for years and this issue becomes an issue in every Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Along with this, there is a wave of happiness among the people there due to the announcement made regarding railways in the recently presented interim budget of 2024. Tonk-Sawai Madhopur MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuriya says that the Prime Minister of the country has given a guarantee, after which the Railway Minister has allocated an amount of Rs 100 crore 1 lakh towards connecting Tonk by rail.
