लूणकरणसर से चतुष्कोणीय मुकाबले में जीतकर सुमित गोदारा बने कैबिनेट मंत्री

बीकानेर  से अकेले सुमित गोदारा को मुख्यमंत्री भजनलाल शर्मा के मंत्रिमंडल में शामिल किया गया है. बड़ी बात यह है कि सुमित को पहली बार कैबिनेट मंत्री का दर्जा दिया गया है. ऐसे में उन्हें बड़े विभाग की जिम्मेदारी मिलने की उम्मीद है. लूणकरनसर के चतुष्कोणीय मुकाबले में सुमित ने बीजेपी के लिए यह सीट जीती, जिसका इनाम उन्हें शनिवार को मिला. सुमित गोदारा ने सुबह ही साफ कर दिया था कि वह जयपुर पहुंच रहे हैं. खुद मुख्यमंत्री भजनलाल शर्मा ने उन्हें फोन कर कहा था कि आप जयपुर पहुंच गए हैं और आपको कैबिनेट मंत्री पद की शपथ लेनी है. गोदारा ने किसी को नहीं बताया कि वह कैबिनेट मंत्री पद की शपथ ले रहे हैं। यह जरूर बताया गया कि वह शपथ ले सकते हैं.
दूसरी बार विधायक बने

सुमित गोदारा लूणकरनसर से लगातार दूसरी बार विधायक बने हैं. इससे पहले पिछले चुनाव में उन्होंने तत्कालीन गृह राज्य मंत्री वीरेंद्र बेनीवाल को हराया था. तभी से वह चर्चा में थे लेकिन बीजेपी की सरकार नहीं बन पाई. इसके बाद सुमित ने लूणकरनसर में पांच साल तक कड़ी मेहनत की. इसी वजह से उन्होंने दूसरी बार भी जीत हासिल की. सुमित ने कांग्रेस के डॉ. राजेंद्र मुंड को हराया. निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी वीरेंद्र बेनीवाल और प्रभुदयाल सारस्वत हार गए.

पिता डॉक्टर, दवा व्यवसाय
सुमित गोदारा के पिता आर.के. चौधरी ने पीबीएम अस्पताल में डॉक्टर के रूप में कार्य किया। सुमित गोदारा खुद भी पहले नशे के कारोबार से जुड़ा रहा है. वर्ष 2010 के बाद उन्होंने राजनीति में सक्रिय भाग लेना शुरू कर दिया। वह पहला चुनाव निर्दलीय मानिक चंद सुराणा से हार गए लेकिन बाद में उन्होंने वीरेंद्र बेनीवाल को हरा दिया और इस बार उन्होंने वीरेंद्र बेनीवाल के साथ-साथ कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार डॉ. राजेंद्र मुंड को भी हरा दिया। साल 2018 में वह पहली बार विधायक बने और उसके बाद उन्होंने पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा. वह राजनीति में लगातार सफल होते जा रहे हैं. दो बार विधायक बनने के साथ ही उन्हें सीधे कैबिनेट मंत्री का पद मिल गया है.

Became MLA for the second time

Sumit Godara has become MLA from Lunkaransar for the second consecutive time. Earlier in the last election, he had defeated the then Minister of State for Home Virendra Beniwal. Since then he was in the news but BJP government could not be formed. After this Sumit worked hard for five years in Lunkaransar. For this reason he won for the second time also. Sumit defeated Dr. Rajendra Mund of Congress. Independent candidates Virendra Beniwal and Prabhudayal Saraswat lost.

Sumit Godara's father R.K. Chaudhary worked as a doctor at PBM Hospital. Sumit Godara himself has been associated with the drug trade in the past. After the year 2010, he started taking active part in politics. He lost the first election to independent Manik Chand Surana but later he defeated Virendra Beniwal and this time he defeated Virendra Beniwal as well as Congress candidate Dr. Rajendra Mund. In the year 2018, he became MLA for the first time and after that he did not look back. He is becoming increasingly successful in politics. After becoming MLA twice, he has directly got the post of cabinet minister.
