पीबीएम अस्पताल का जनाना अस्पताल जहां प्रतिदिन 60 से 70 डिलीवरी होती है और यहाँ अस्पताल निर्माण के समय से ही गंभीर प्रसूताओं एवं उनके नवजात को रखने के लिए कॉटेज का निर्माण करवाया गया था ताकि उनको आवास संबंधी कोई असुविधा ना हो लेकिन लगभग एक दशक पहले इन कॉटेज को हटा दिया गया था |

 प्रसूताओं की परेशानियों को देखते हुए भामाशाह सींगी परिवार ने 36 कॉटेज का निर्माण करवाने हेतु सहमति पत्र सरदार पटेल आयुर्विज्ञान महाविद्यालय के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. गुंजन सोनी को सौंपा गया था | बीकानेर जिला उद्योग संघ के अध्यक्ष द्वारकाप्रसाद पचीसिया ने बताया कि 7 अक्टूबर शनिवार को राज्य सरकार द्वारा सरदार पटेल मेडिकल कॉलेज में पूर्व में स्थापित एन वार्डों (वर्तमान में ध्वस्त) के स्थान पर 36 कॉटेज वार्डों के निर्माण की स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी गयी थी ओर प्रिंसिपल गुंजन सोनी द्वारा 8 अक्टूबर रविवार को सींगी परिवार को राज्य सरकार द्वारा जारी सहमति पत्र सौंपा गया ।

 प्रिंसिपल डॉ. गुंजन सोनी, जनाना अस्पताल विभागाध्यक्ष स्वेता कोचर एवं डॉ जितेन्द्र आचार्य ने कॉटेज की आवश्यकताओं को देखते हुए सींगी परिवार को कॉटेज निर्माण हेतु प्रेरित किया | वर्तमान में जनाना अस्पताल में कॉटेज निर्माण की आवश्यकता भी महसूस की जा रही थी | सींगी परिवार द्वारा बीकानेर संभाग एवं अलग अलग राज्यों से आने वाली प्रसूताओं के सुविधार्थ कॉटेज का निर्माण करवाकर राज्य सरकार को सुपुर्द किया जाएगा | इस अवसर पर सरदार पटेल आयुर्विज्ञान महाविद्यालय के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. गुंजन सोनी, श्रीराम सींगी, किसनलाल सींगी, द्वारकाप्रसाद पचीसिया, हरिनारायण व्यास मन्ना सा, डॉ. जितेन्द्र आचार्य आदि उपस्थित हुए |

In view of the problems of pregnant women, the Bhamashah Singi family had submitted a consent letter to Dr. Gunjan Soni, Principal of Sardar Patel Medical Sciences College, for the construction of 36 cottages. Bikaner District Industries Association President Dwarka Prasad Pachisia said that on Saturday, October 7, the state government had given approval for the construction of 36 cottage wards in place of the previously established N wards (currently demolished) in Sardar Patel Medical College and the Principal. On Sunday, October 8, Gunjan Soni handed over the consent letter issued by the state government to the Singi family.

Principal Dr. Gunjan Soni, Zanana Hospital Head of Department Sweta Kochhar and Dr. Jitendra Acharya, considering the needs of the cottage, inspired the Singi family to construct the cottage. Presently the need for construction of cottage in Zanana Hospital was also felt. The cottage will be constructed by the Singi family and handed over to the state government for the convenience of the mothers coming from Bikaner division and different states. On this occasion, Principal of Sardar Patel Medical College, Dr. Gunjan Soni, Shriram Singi, Kisanlal Singi, Dwarkaprasad Pachisia, Harinarayan Vyas Manna Sa, Dr. Jitendra Acharya etc. were present.
