राजस्थान के जयपुर से एक चौंकने वाला मामला सामने आया है। जयपुर के एक वकील ने होटल के स्विमिंग पूल में कूदकर कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस ने बताया कि रविवार को यहां एक वकील ने पत्नी से मारपीट के बाद होटल के स्विमिंग पूल में आत्महत्या कर ली।

पुलिस ने बताया कि धूप सिंह पूनिया (54) ने एक मार्च को किसी बात पर अपनी पत्नी को बुरी तरह पीटा था और वह चित्रकूट पुलिस थाने पहुंचा और कहा कि उसने अपनी पत्नी की हत्या कर दी है।

पुलिस जब अस्पताल पहुंची तो पूछताछ में पता चला कि उसकी पत्नी घायल हालत में अस्पताल में भर्ती है। पुलिस ने कहा कि इसके बाद पूनिया को हिरासत में लिया गया लेकिन बाद में रिहा कर दिया गया था।

 वह एक होटल में गया और वहां स्विमिंग पूल में कूदकर आत्महत्या कर ली, उन्होंने कहा, शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए नजदीकी अस्पताल में भेज दिया गया है।

पुलिस के अनुसार, ऐसा संदेह है कि धूप सिंह पूनिया ने संभवत: अपनी पत्नी की पिटाई करने के अपराध में यह कदम उठाया। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर आगे की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

A shocking case has come to light from Jaipur, Rajasthan. A Jaipur lawyer allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a hotel swimming pool. Police said that on Sunday, a lawyer committed suicide in the swimming pool of the hotel after assaulting his wife.

Police said that Dhup Singh Poonia (54) had beaten his wife badly over some issue on March 1 and he reached Chitrakoot police station and said that he had murdered his wife.

When the police reached the hospital, during interrogation it came to light that his wife was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition. Police said Poonia was then detained but was later released.

  He went to a hotel and committed suicide by jumping into the swimming pool there, he said, adding that the body has been sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.

According to the police, it is suspected that Dhup Singh Poonia may have taken this step for the crime of beating his wife. Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
