शनिवार को कोरोना से संक्रमित पांच नए मरीज मिले। इसके साथ ही दिल्ली में कोरोना के एक्टिव मामलों की संख्या बढ़कर आठ हो गई है। कोरोना संक्रमित मिले पांच नए मरीजों में से अधिकतर को हल्के और मध्यम श्रेणी के लक्षण हैं। इनमें तीन मरीज ऐसे थे, जो किसी और बीमारी के इलाज के लिए अस्पताल आए थे, मगर जांच में उन्हें कोरोना होने का पता चला। डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि लोगों को भीड़ भरी जगहों पर जाते समय मास्क जरूर पहनना चाहिए। पहले से बीमार लोगों को अधिक सावधानी की जरूरत है। 

कोविड-19 के नए वैरिएंट जेएन.1 पर एम्स के पूर्व निदेशक और वरिष्ठ पल्मोनोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया ने कहा कि कोरोना का यह वैरिएंट अधिक संक्रामक है। यह अधिक तेजी से फैल रहा है। यह धीरे-धीरे एक प्रमुख वैरिएंट बनता जा रहा है... यह और अधिक संक्रमण पैदा कर रहा है। हालांकि आंकड़े बताते हैं कि इससे फैल रहा संक्रमण घातक नहीं है। यह अस्पताल में भर्ती होने का कारण नहीं बन रहा है। इसके अधिकांश लक्षण बुखार, खांसी, सर्दी, गले में खराश, नाक बहना और शरीर में दर्द के हैं...

डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया ने यह भी कहा कि यह आम तौर पर वायरल संक्रमण वाला सीजन है। इसमें फ्लू के मामले भी सामने आते हैं। वायरल इंफेक्शन की मुख्य वजहें तापमान में अंतर और भीड़ -भाड़ है। इससे बचने के लिए लोगों को कोविड प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करना चाहिए। लोगों को भीड़ भरी जगहों पर जाने से बचना चाहिए। समय समय पर हाथ स्वच्छ करते रहना चाहिए। पहले से गंभीर बीमारियों से जूझ रहे लोगों को भीड़ में जाने से परहेज करना चाहिए और मास्क का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए।
