राजस्थान के डूंगरपुर जिले से एक रोंगटे खड़े कर देने वाली खबर है। शादी की एनिवर्सरी पर पति-पत्नी एक दूसरे को उपहार देते हैं, लेकिन गुजरात के एक दंपति ने उपहार में एक दूसरे की जान ले ली। पत्नी तो अपना गिफ्ट देने में सफल हो गई, लेकिन पति अधमरी हालत में थाने पहुंचा। उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। उसकी हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है। दोनों गुजरात में रहने वाले उनके परिवार को सूचित कर दिया गया है।

एनिवर्सरी मनाने आए राजस्थान
डूंगरपुर जिले की बिछीवाड़ा थाना पुलिस ने बताया कि गुजरात में रहने वाले अक्षय और उसकी पत्नी ज्योति कल बिछीवाड़ा थाना इलाके में डूंगरपुर बॉर्डर के नजदीक स्थित एक होटल में आकर रुके थे। होटल में दोनों ने अपनी पसंद का खाना खाया। एनिवर्सरी मनाई, केक काटा। उसके बाद दोनों ने उस काम की तैयारी कर ली जिसके लिए वह गुजरात से राजस्थान आए थे।

गिरता पड़ता खुद पहुंच गया थाने
दंपति सुसाइड करने के लिए राजस्थान आए थे। उन्होंने रतनपुर बॉर्डर पर जो होटल लिया था, उस होटल में अपनी जान देने की तैयारी की। अक्षय की पत्नी ज्योति ने फांसी लगाकर जान देने की कोशिश की, लेकिन वह सफल नहीं हो सकी। उसके बाद अक्षय ने अपनी पत्नी का गला दबाकर उसे मारा। उसके बाद खुद अपने दोनों हाथों की नस काट ली। वह अचेत हालत में वहीं गिर गया। कुछ समय बाद उसे होश आया तो वह होटल से निकला और पैर पटकता पटकता नजदीक ही बिछीवाड़ा थाने जा पहुंचा। पुलिस उसे इस हालत में देखकर दंग रह गई।उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया।

कर्ज के कारण उठाया ये कदम
आज सवेरे जब उसे होश आया तब उसने पुलिस को सारी कहानी बताई। पुलिस ने होटल के कमरा नंबर 702 से ज्योति का शव बरामद कर लिया है। शरीर पर चोट के भी निशान है, मानो हत्या करने से पहले किसी धारदार हथियार से वार किया गया हो। इस हत्याकांड से हर कोई स्तब्ध है। अक्षय ने पुलिस को बताया कि वह गुजरात में ट्रैवल एजेंसी चलाता है, लेकिन ट्रैवल एजेंसी बुरी तरह घाटे में है। कर्ज बढ़ता जा रहा है, इस कारण उसने यह कदम उठाया।
