राजस्थान के अजमेर में बीमा क्लेम लेने के लिए जिंदा व्यक्ति को मृत बताने का मामला सामने आया है। मृत्यु दावा पेश करने पर बीमा कंपनी की ओर से की गई इंटरनल जांच में इसका खुलासा हुआ। बीमा कंपनी के मैनेजर ने क्रिश्चयगंज थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई है। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

पुलिस ने बताया कि बलजोत सिंह ग्रेवाल ने क्रिश्चयनगंज थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई है। बलजोत सिंह ने शिकायत में बताया कि वह ICICI प्रूडेंशियल लाइफ इनश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड अजमेर के शाखा प्रबंधक पद पर नौकरी करते है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह एक बीमा कंपनी है, जो बीमा नियामक एवं विकास प्राधिकरण से प्राप्त लाइसेंस के तहत भारत के अन्य शाखाओं के साथ साथ अजमेर राजस्थान मे जीवन बीमा व्यवसाय करती है।

इस कंपनी में किशन के नाम पर 27 मई 2021 को पॉलिसी के लिए आवेदन किया गया। बीमा पॉलिसी 22 जून 2021 को जारी की गई। जिसकी बीमा राशि 21 लाख रुपए व अर्द्धवार्षिक प्रीमियम 70 हजार था। नोमिनी नारायण (भाई) पुत्र नानू, निवासी कुशलपुरा जोताया टांटोटी अजमेर था।

यह पॉलिसी कंपनी की वेबसाइट पर जाकर और किसी एजेंट के बिना एक ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरकर खरीदी गई थी। ऐसे मामले में सभी विवरण ग्राहक द्वारा स्वयं भरे जाते हैं। 30 दिसंबर 2021 को नारायण ने कंपनी के पास एक मृत्यु दावा पेश किया, जिसमें कहा गया कि किशन की मृत्यु 31 जुलाई 2021 को प्राकृतिक कारणों से हो गई। मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत किया गया। पॉलिसी जारी होने की तारीख से सिर्फ 1 महीने 9 दिनों के भीतर बीमित व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हो गई, इसलिए कंपनी ने एक आंतरिक जांच शुरू की।

जांच में पाया कि कथित जीवन बीमित व्यक्ति हकीकत में जीवित है। एक ऐसे व्यक्ति के नाम पर मौत का झूठा दावा किया गया जो जीवित और स्वस्थ था। दस्तावेजों के आधार पर स्पष्ट हो गया कि कंपनी के साथ झूठा मृत्युदावा दायर किया गया। ताकि कंपनी से बीमे के 21 लाख प्राप्त किए जा सके। नारायण ने धोखाधड़ी और जालसाजी करके अनुचित लाभ और मौद्रिक लाभ प्राप्त करने का प्रयास किया है। क्रिश्चयनगंज थाना पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

Fraud for Rs 21 lakh, a living person was declared dead for claim... Insurance company's investigation exposed

A case of presenting a living person as dead to get an insurance claim has come to light in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This was revealed in the internal investigation conducted by the insurance company after the death claim was submitted. The manager of the insurance company has lodged a report at Christianganj police station. Police have registered the case and started investigation.

Police said that Baljot Singh Grewal has lodged a report at Christianganj police station. Baljot Singh told in the complaint that he works as branch manager of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, Ajmer. He told that it is an insurance company, which does life insurance business in Ajmer Rajasthan along with other branches in India under the license obtained from Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.

The policy was applied for in this company in the name of Kishan on 27 May 2021. The insurance policy was issued on 22 June 2021. Whose insurance amount was Rs 21 lakh and half-yearly premium was Rs 70 thousand. Nomini Narayan (brother) son of Nanu, resident of Kushalpura Jotaya Tantoti Ajmer.

This policy was purchased by visiting the company's website and filling an online application form without any agent. In such case all the details are filled by the customer himself. On 30 December 2021, Narayan submitted a death claim to the company, stating that Kishan died of natural causes on 31 July 2021. Death certificate was presented. The insured died within just 1 month and 9 days from the date of policy issue, so the company initiated an internal investigation.

Investigation found that the alleged life assured is actually alive. A false claim of death was made in the name of a person who was alive and well. Based on the documents it became clear that a false death claim was filed with the company. So that 21 lakhs of insurance can be received from the company. Narayan has attempted to obtain undue advantage and monetary gain by committing fraud and forgery. Christianganj police station has registered the case and started investigation.
