20 साल की प्रेमिका और दो बच्चों का पिता था प्रेमी
दरअसल बाड़मेर के नजदीक बालोतरा इलाके में रहने वाले राजू भाट को बालोतरा के ही एक गांव में रहने वाली 20 साल की रवीना से प्यार हो गया । 1 साल पहले दोनों की मुलाकात हुई थी। दोनों छुप-छुप कर मिलने लगे । इस बीच दोनों ने एक दूसरे के साथ शादी का फैसला भी कर लिया। लेकिन इसकी जानकारी कुछ दिन पहले राजू की पत्नी को लगी और साथ ही रवीना के परिजनों को भी इसका अंदाजा हो चुका था। राजू 15 साल पहले शादीशुदा था और उसके आठ और 10 साल के दो बेटे भी हैं।‌

दोनों साथ जी नहीं सके तो कर लिया मरने का फैसला
मजदूरी का काम करने वाला राजू अक्सर रवीना के गांव जाकर उससे मिलता था। दोनों ने गुरुवार को घर से भागने का फैसला किया और गुरुवार को दोनों घर से फरार हो गए ।‌लेकिन दोनों शादी नहीं कर सके। परिवार को उसका पता लगा तो दोनों ने मरने का फैसला किया।

आखिर वक्त में प्रेमिका ने छोड़ दिया प्रेमी का साथ
गुरुवार देर रात बालोतरा रेलवे स्टेशन पर राजू और रवीना ने ट्रेन के आगे छलांग लगाई लेकिन रवीना ने‌ एन वक्त पर राजू का हाथ छोड़ दिया और ट्रेन राजू के शरीर से होते हुए गुजर गई । कुछ देर बाद पुलिस पहुंची और रवीना को हिरासत में लिया । उसे पुलिस कस्टडी में रखा गया और राजू के शरीर के टुकड़े उठाए गए। उन्हें मुर्दाघर में रखवाया गया ।‌राजू के भाई रवि का आरोप था कि रवीना के परिवार ने राजू की जान ले ली।

जिंदा बची तो दो दिन बाद वो भी मर गई...
उधर पुलिस ने रवीना को हिरासत में लिया और उसे डिटेंशन सेंटर में रखा गया लेकिन शनिवार दोपहर वह भी चुपचाप डिटेंशन सेंटर से निकल गई। पता चला शनिवार रात उसने भी ट्रेन के आगे कूद कर जान दे दी इस प्रेम कहानी के अंत के बाद अब दोनों परिवारों के सामने सिवाय दुखों के पहाड़ के कुछ नहीं बचा है।
