बीकानेर। एक युवक से फेसबुक पर ऑनलाइन गेम्स का विज्ञापन देकर रुपए दोगुना करने व लाभांश देने का झांसा देकर 28 लाख 63 हजार रुपए ठगी करने के मामले में मेड़ता रोड पुलिस ने बीकानेर निवासी भवानीशंकर मोदी को गिरफ्तार किया है। थानाधिकारी लक्ष्मण सिंह ने बताया कि 9 जुलाई 2023 को नागौर जिले की लाडनूं तहसील के ओडिन्ट ग्राम निवासी रामदेवराम सोनी (32) हाल डारा की ढाणी पोलास ने रिपोर्ट देकर बताया कि वह तीन साल से पोलास में सोने चांदी का कार्य करता है।

उसके पास एक मोबाइल नंबर है, जिस पर वह फेसबुक व सोने चांदी के भाव देखता रहता है। अगस्त 2021 में जब फेसबुक चला रहा था, तब उसमें एड देखा जो फनगेम्स के संबध में था। बहकावे में आकर उसमें लिखे मोबाइल नंबर पर संपर्क किया। सामने से युवक ने खुद का नाम पवन खत्री निवासी अहमदाबाद बताते हुए कहा कि वह फन गेम्स का प्रोपराइटर है। रुपए इन्वेस्टमेंट करो लाभ ही होगा। उसने अपने जीजा से पूछा तो उन्होंने परिवादी को बताया कि उसे भी इस एप में 10 हजार रुपए का लाभ मिला था।

लेकिन अब इन्वेस्ट करना बंद कर दिया है। इस प्रकार उसने उस कंपनी से लिंक करवाया। अगस्त 2022 में भवानी शंकर मोदी बीकानेर के नाम से एक कॉल आया। उसने भी इसी फन गेम्स के बारे में बताते हुए उसे 70-80 प्रतिशत लाभ होने की जानकारी दी गई। वह झांसे में आ गया और अगस्त 2022 से 14 जून 2023 तक दोनों आरोपियों को अपने पेटीएम से 7 लाख 44 हजार 666 रुपए , फोन पे से 8 लाख 73 हजार 550 रुपए, ई पे से 45 हजार रुपए भेजे ।

तरह आरोपी पवन कुमार खत्री को बैंक ट्रांजक्शन से कुल 16 लाख 63 हजार 216 रुपए व भवानी शंकर को 12 लाख 328 रुपए भेजे। दोनों आरोपियों ने 18 लाख 63 हजार 552 रुपए लांभाश देने व डबल करने की बात कहते हुए रुपए लिए। पुलिस ने जांच के बाद बीकानेर के भवानी शंकर मोदी को गिरफ्तार किया है।

He has a mobile number on which he keeps checking Facebook and gold and silver prices. In August 2021, when I was using Facebook, I saw an ad related to FunGames. Being deceived, he contacted the mobile number written in it. The young man from the front revealed his name as Pawan Khatri, resident of Ahmedabad and said that he is the proprietor of Fun Games. Invest the money and you will get profit. When he asked his brother-in-law, he told the complainant that he had also got a profit of Rs 10,000 in this app.

But now I have stopped investing. In this way he got linked with that company. In August 2022, a call came in the name of Bhavani Shankar Modi Bikaner. He also told about these fun games and was informed that he would get 70-80 percent profit. He fell into the trap and from August 2022 to June 14, 2023, he sent Rs 7 lakh 44 thousand 666 from his Paytm, Rs 8 lakh 73 thousand 550 from PhonePe and Rs 45 thousand from E Pay to both the accused.

Similarly, a total of Rs 16 lakh 63 thousand 216 was sent to accused Pawan Kumar Khatri and Rs 12 lakh 328 to Bhavani Shankar through bank transaction. Both the accused took money amounting to Rs 18 lakh 63 thousand 552, promising to give and double it. After investigation, police have arrested Bhavani Shankar Modi of Bikaner.
