राजस्थान में ट्रकों की हड़ताल, हिट एंड रन कानून के खिलाफ 'चक्का जाम'

राजस्थान में हिट एंड रन कानून में नए प्रावधान के विरोध में भरतपुर समेत कई जिलों में रोडवेज और प्राइवेट बस चालकों व वाहन चालकों ने चक्का जाम हड़ताल कर विरोध-प्रदर्शन किया। भरतपुर, सवाई माधोपुर, अलवर और धौलपुर में व्यापक असर देखा गया।भरतपुर के रोडवेज और प्राइवेट बस चालकों व वाहन चालकों ने चक्का जाम हड़ताल कर दी. रोडवेज की करीब 150 से अधिक बसें, 100 से अधिक निजी बस व वाहनों के पहिए थम गए। शहर के हीरादास बस स्टैंड पर सड़क पर जाम लगाकर चालक हड़ताल पर बैठ गए। चालकों की मांग है नए प्रावधान वापस लिए जाए अन्यथा हड़ताल जारी रहेगी। 

कानून में नए प्रावधान किए गए है

उल्लेखनीय है कि हाल ही में हिट एंड रन कानून में नए प्रावधान किए गए है। इसके तहत यदि दुर्घटना के बाद कोई चालक वाहन छोड़कर भागता है तो उस पर 7 लाख रुपए का जुर्माना और 10 साल तक की सजा का प्रावधान किया गया है। सरकार को यह नया प्रावधान वापस लेना चाहिए, क्योंकि दुर्घटना के समय वाहन चालक की खुद की जिंदगी खतरे में होती है। दुर्घटना के समय मौके पर भीड़ बेकाबू हो जाती है। सरकार को दुर्घटना के समय खुद घायलों और वाहन चालकों की मदद के लिए आगे आना चाहिए।
रोड एक्सीडेंट को लेकर केंद्र सरकार द्वारा बनाए गए नए कानून को लेकर लगातार विरोध देखने को मिल रहा है।

सवाई माधोपुर में विरोध-प्रदर्शन देखने को मिला

इस नए कानून को लेकर आज एक बार फिर सवाई माधोपुर में विरोध-प्रदर्शन देखने को मिला। ट्रक यूनियन, बस यूनियन, टेम्पो यूनियन सहित बस ट्रक एवं अन्य वाहन चलाने वाले वाहन चालकों द्वारा कलेक्ट्रेट के समक्ष जमकर विरोध-प्रदर्शन किया गया और कानून वापस लेने व कानून में सुधार की मांग को लेकर केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री के नाम जिला कलेक्टर को ज्ञापन सौंपा गया।केंद्र सरकार के कानून के खिलाफ धौलपुर में बस-ऑपरेटरों ने सोमवार सुबह में ही रोडवेज बस स्टैंड पर चक्का जाम कर दिया। रोडवेज कर्मियों की हड़ताल के बाद चालक-परिचालकों ने रोडवेज व अनुबंध पर चल रही प्राइवेट बसों को रोका। रोडवेज बस स्टैंड पर जाम के बीच यात्री खासे परेशान रहे। रोडवेज बस स्टैंड पर चक्का जाम  कर दिया। 

Truck strike in Rajasthan, 'Chakka Jam' against hit and run law

In many districts including Bharatpur, roadways and private bus drivers and drivers staged a 'chakka jam' strike in protest against the new provision in the Hit and Run law in Rajasthan. Widespread impact was seen in Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar and Dholpur. Roadways and private bus drivers and drivers of Bharatpur went on a chakka jam strike. The wheels of more than 150 roadways buses, more than 100 private buses and vehicles stopped. The drivers went on strike by blocking the road at Hiradas bus stand in the city. The drivers demand that the new provisions should be withdrawn otherwise the strike will continue.

New provisions have been made in the law

It is noteworthy that recently new provisions have been made in the Hit and Run law. Under this, if a driver leaves the vehicle and runs away after an accident, then there is a provision of a fine of Rs 7 lakh and a punishment of up to 10 years. The government should withdraw this new provision, because the driver's own life is in danger at the time of an accident. At the time of an accident, the crowd at the spot becomes uncontrollable. The government itself should come forward to help the injured and the drivers at the time of accidents.
There are continuous protests against the new law made by the Central Government regarding road accidents.

Protests were seen in Sawai Madhopur

Today once again protests were seen in Sawai Madhopur regarding this new law. Truck Union, Bus Union, Tempo Union including drivers of bus trucks and other vehicles protested fiercely in front of the Collectorate and a memorandum was submitted to the District Collector in the name of the Union Home Minister demanding withdrawal of the law and reform in the law. Against the law of the Central Government, the bus operators in Dholpur blocked the roadways bus stand on Monday morning itself. After the strike by roadways workers, drivers and conductors stopped the private buses running on roadways and on contract. Passengers remained quite troubled due to the jam at the roadways bus stand. Blocked the roadways bus stand.
