बीकानेर जिले के कालू पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में हुई एक दुखद घटना में पति को फांसी के फंदे पर लटका देख पत्नी बेहोश हो गई और घर में दोनों की मौत हो गई। घटना 25 जनवरी को हुई थी, जब कालू के वार्ड नंबर एक में निवासी ओमप्रकाश (35) ने अपने घर में आत्महत्या कर ली। उसकी पत्नी मंजू देवी (32) ने उसे फांसी लगाए हुए पाया।

घटना के समय घर में दोनों के अलावा कोई नहीं था जिसके कारण दोनों को कोई संभाल नहीं सका। पति की आत्महत्या को देखकर पत्नी बेहोश हो गई और वहीं पर गिर गई। दोनों को काफी देर तक कोई नहीं संभाला गया और इस दौरान भी पत्नी की मौत हो गई। घटना का पता चलने पर दंपति के बच्चे घर पहुंचे, और उन्होंने हॉस्पिटल में शवों को ले जाया। वहां दोनों की मृत्यु की पुष्टि हुई और मृतकों का पोस्टमार्टम करवाया गया।

थानाधिकारी लखवीर सिंह ने बताया कि पुलिस ने मृतकों का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर परिजनों को सुपुर्द कर दिया है और मामले की जांच शुरू की जा रही है।

In a tragic incident that took place in Kalu police station area of Bikaner district, the wife fainted after seeing her husband hanging and both of them died in the house. The incident took place on January 25, when Omprakash (35), a resident of ward number one of Kalu, committed suicide in his house. His wife Manju Devi (32) found him hanging.

At the time of the incident, there was no one else in the house except the two, due to which no one could take care of them. Seeing her husband's suicide, the wife became unconscious and fell there. No one took care of both of them for a long time and during this time also the wife died. Upon learning of the incident, the couple's children reached home, and took the bodies to the hospital. There the death of both was confirmed and the post-mortem of the deceased was conducted.

Police Station Officer Lakhveer Singh said that the police have conducted the post-mortem of the deceased and handed them over to their families and investigation into the case is being initiated.
