केंद्र सरकार के नए कानून हिट एंड रन कानून को लेकर मचा बवाल अब थमता नजर आ रहा है. मंगलवार देर शाम सरकार और ट्रांसपोर्ट संगठनों के बीच हुई मीटिंग के बाद सरकार की ओर से ड्राइवरों से हड़ताल वापस लेने की अपील की गई है. ऑल इंडिया मोर्ट्स ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉरपोरेशन कोर कमेटी के चेयरमैन बल मलकीत ने हड़ताल समाप्त किए जाने की घोषणा की है. मलकीत ने कहा कि भारतीय न्याय संहिता के मसले पर हमारी मुलाकात और बातचीत हुई, अब हमें कोई दिक्कत नहीं है , सारे मसलों का समाधान हो गया है.

दरअसल ट्रांसपोर्टरों की हड़ताल पर यह बैठक दिल्ली में हुई, जिसमें केंद्र सरकार की ओर से यह जानकारी दी गई कि हिट एंड रन का नया कानून अभी लागू नहीं होगा. केंद्रीय गृह सचिव अजय भल्ला की अध्यक्षता में हुई बैठक में बताया गया कि 10 साल की सजा और जुर्माने का प्रावधान अभी लागू नहीं होगा. भल्ला ने यह भी कहा कि ऐसा कोई कानून लाने से पहले सरकार ट्रासपोर्ट एसोसिएशन से बात करेगी.
सचिव की ओर ये यह आश्वासन मिलने के बाद हड़ताल समाप्ति की घोषणा की गई. ट्रांसपोर्ट संगठन की ओर से इस बाबत पत्र भी जारी किया गया है.
Agreement between government and transport organizations on Hit and Run Law, drivers strike ends
The uproar over the hit and run law of the central government now seems to have subsided. After the meeting held between the government and transport organizations late on Tuesday evening, the government has appealed to the drivers to call off the strike. All India Mort Transport Corporation Core Committee Chairman Bal Malkit has announced the end of the strike. Malkit said that we met and discussed the issue of Indian Judicial Code, now we have no problem, all the issues have been resolved.
Actually, this meeting was held in Delhi on the strike of transporters, in which information was given by the Central Government that the new law of hit and run will not be implemented yet. In the meeting chaired by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, it was told that the provision of 10 years' imprisonment and fine will not be implemented yet. Bhalla also said that the government will talk to the transport association before bringing such a law.
After receiving this assurance from the Secretary, the end of the strike was announced. A letter in this regard has also been issued by the transport organization.
