"हाल ही में, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 'प्रधानमंत्री सूर्योदय योजना' की शुरुआत की है, जिसका उद्देश्य देशभर में एक करोड़ घरों पर सोलर पैनल लगाना है। इस योजना के तैयारी में राजस्थान ने भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। योजना के लागू होने के बाद, राजस्थान के युवा नेता नितेश तिवारी का नाम समाचारों में आ रहा है।

नितेश ने बताया कि इस योजना को तैयार करने में उन्होंने एकमात्र राजस्थान के निवासी रूप में अपनी भूमिका निभाई हैं। वर्तमान में वह दिल्ली के इंद्रप्रस्थ यूनिवर्सिटी में बीटेक की पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं। केंद्र सरकार के सामने इस योजना को तैयार करने में कई कठिनाइयां आई थीं, लेकिन इसमें काम करने के लिए उन्होंने भर्ती प्रक्रिया में भाग लिया और उनमें से एक चयन हुआ।

तीन महीने की रिसर्च में इन्होंने सबसे बड़ी चुनौती में से एक होकर यह साबित किया कि थर्मल पावर प्लांट से उत्पन्न जहरीली गैस को कैसे कम किया जा सकता है। इसके लिए उन्होंने एक रिन्यूएबल पावर प्लांट में बदलने का सुझाव दिया जिससे पर्यावरण को भी ठोस लाभ हो सके। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने बड़े सोलर प्लांट की जगह-जगह रूफ टॉप सोलर सिस्टम लगाने की भी सिफारिश की है।

In three months of research, one of the biggest challenges he faced was to prove how poisonous gas generated from thermal power plants could be reduced. For this, he suggested converting into a renewable power plant which can also provide concrete benefits to the environment. Apart from this, he has also recommended installation of rooftop solar systems in place of large solar plants."
