इंडियन मार्केट में कॉम्पैक्ट एसयूएवी की डिमांड पिछले कुछ सालों में तेजी से बढ़ी है. कार कंपनियां भी इसी ट्रेंड के अनुसार अपनी ज्यादातर गाड़ियां कॉम्पैक्ट एसयूवी सेगमेंट में उतार रही हैं. कॉम्पैक्ट एसयूवी परफॉर्मेंस और कम्फर्ट के लिहाज से एक हैचबैक से बेहतर होती है. एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, देश में कार ग्राहक 7-12 लाख रुपये की एसयूवी कारों को सबसे ज्यादा पसंद कर रहे हैं. इस सेगमेंट में पहले टाटा नेक्सॉन और हुंडई क्रेटा जैसी गाड़ियों का कब्जा था, लेकिन अब एक नई एसयूवी ने इन दोनों गाड़ियों को पीछे छोड़ते हुए नंबर-1 बन गई है.

दरअसल, नए अवतार में बिक रही मारुति सुजुकी ब्रेजा को लोग खूब पसंद कर रहे हैं. इस एसयूवी को बाजार में आए हुए एक साल ही हुए हैं कि ये सेगमेंट में लीडर रही क्रेटा और नेक्सॉन को पीछे छोड़ चुकी है. दरअसल, ब्रेजा की बिक्री शानदार चल रही है और अब ये देश की नंबर-1 एसयूवी बन गई है. जुलाई 2023 में ब्रेजा 16,543 यूनिट्स की बिक्री के साथ देश की बेस्ट सेलिंग एसयूवी बन गई. वहीं क्रेटा की सेल्स 14,062 यूनिट्स और नेक्सॉन की 12,349 यूनिट्स रही.

नए डिजाइन के दीवाने हुए लोग

मारुति सुजुकी 2016 से ही ब्रेजा की बिक्री कर रही है, लेकिन इसे अच्छा रिस्पाॅन्स नहीं मिल रहा था. यही वजह थी कि देश की सबसे बड़ी कार निर्माता एसयूवी के मामले में पीछे रह गई थी. हालांकि, 2022 में ब्रेजा फेसलिफ्ट को लॉन्च होते ही इसकी किस्मत बदल गई. नए डिजाइन और एडवांस फीचर्स वाली ब्रेजा एसयूवी ग्राहकों को खूब पसंद आ रही है.

मारुती ब्रेजा की बात करें तो इसमें 1.5-लीटर का पेट्रोल इंजन दिया गया है जो 103 बीएचपी की पॉवर और 137 एनएम का टॉर्क जनरेट करता है. इंजन को साथ 5-स्पीड मैनुअल और 5-स्पीड ऑटोमैटिक गियरबॉक्स से जोड़ा गया है. कंपनी इसे मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन में सीएनजी के साथ भी पेश करती है. माइलेज के मामले में भी ब्रेजा आपको कहीं से भी निराश नहीं करेगी. ब्रेजा के ऑटोमैटिक वेरिएंट का माइलेज 19.8kmpl है, वहीं सीएनजी में यह 25.51km/kg की माइलेज आसानी से दे सकती है.

फीचर्स के लिहाज से देखें तो मारुति ब्रेजा अपने सेगमेंट में की सबसे अपडेटेड फीचर्स से लैस है. इसमें वायरलेस एंड्रॉइड ऑटो और ऐप्पल कारप्ले के साथ 9-इंच का टचस्क्रीन इंफोटेनमेंट सिस्टम, 4 स्पीकर साउंड सिस्टम, 360 डिग्री कैमरा, वायरलेस फोन चार्जर, सिंगल-पैन सनरूफ और एम्बिएंट लाइटिंग जैसे फीचर्स मिलते हैं. यह अपने सेगमेंट की पहली एसयूवी थी जिसे पैडल शिफ्टर्स (AT ट्रिम) और हेड-अप डिस्प्ले जैसे एडवांस फीचर्स के साथ पेश किया गया है.
