राजस्थान के झुंझुनूं जिले में पुलिस थानेदार की भ्रष्टाचार की घटना सामने आई है, जिसमें उन्होंने रिश्वत लेने का मामला अपने ऊपर उठाया गया है। इस मामले में पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस के उपनिरीक्षक स्वप्न कुमार राय को 50 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत लेते पकड़ा गया है।

ब्रियोग के अनुसार, एंटी-करप्शन ब्यूरो (ACB) की टीम ने रिश्वत की धाराओं में उन्हें पकड़ा है, जो एक रेप के आरोपी को गिरफ्तार नहीं करने की एवज में मांग की गई थी। पहले उन्हें 1 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत मांगी गई थी, लेकिन बाद में 50 हजार रुपये पर समझौता किया गया।

आरोपी के परिवादी द्वारा शिकायत के बाद, ACB ने तत्काल कार्रवाई की और थानेदार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उनकी गिरफ्तारी के बाद, ACB ने नवलगढ़ में उनके आवास पर भी तलाशी की। इस मामले में भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत प्रकरण दर्ज किया जाएगा।

एसीबी के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इस मामले को संज्ञान में लेते हुए तत्काल कार्रवाई की गई और दोषी को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। इस घटना से जनता को आशा की किरण मिली है कि भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ लड़ाई में सशक्त एवं निष्ठावान जांच तंत्र कामयाबी से काम कर रहा है।
