 राजपूत क्षत्राणियों के जौहर के लिए पहचाने जाने वाले राजस्थान में क्या फिर जौहर होने जा रहा है....? बड़ी संख्या में राजपूत महिलाएं और बेटियों जयपुर की ओर बढ़ रही हैं। जयपुर में रहने वाले सीएम भजन लाल के आवास के पास आकर जौहर करने की चुनौती दे दी गई है। इन महिलाओं की अगुवाई श्री राजपूत करणी सेना के अध्यक्ष रहे सुखदेव सिंह गोगामेडी की पत्नी कर रही है। उनका नाम शीला शेखावत है। कुछ महीने पहले गोगामेड़ी के जयपुर में उनके आवास पर गोलियां मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी।

हनुमानगढ़ से रवाना हुई शीला
शीला शेखावत हनुमानगढ़ जिले में स्थित अपने गांव से आज सवेरे रवाना हो गई है। वे और उनके साथ समाज के लोग बड़ी संख्या में पैदल ही जयपुर आ रहे हैं। आने वाले चार से पांच दिन में वे जयपुर पहुंच जाएंगे और उसके बाद शीला शेखावत ने यहां जौहर करने की चेतावनी दी है।

11 मांगे पूरी करने सरकार ने दिया था आश्वासन
दरअसल गोगामेड़ी की हत्या के बाद परिवार ने शव उठाने से इंकार कर दिया था। उसके बाद पुलिस और प्रशासनिक अफसरों के अलावा राजनीति से ताल्लुक रखने वाले नेताओं ने परिवार को समझाने की कोशिश की। परिवार ने 11 मांगे दी थीं सरकार को। सरकार ने उन मांगों पर सहमति देते हुए शव उठवाया था और अंतिम संस्कार कराया था।

नौकरी और मुआवजा तक नहीं मिला
शीला शेखावत का कहना है कि इन मांगों में से सरकार ने सिर्फ दो मांगे मानी हैं। जिनमें पहली बड़ी एजेंसी से जांच की और दूसरी परिवार को सुरक्षा देने की है। न तो सरकार ने परिवार के सदस्य को नौकरी दी न ही किसी तरह की राशि मुआवजे के तौर पर दी, और भी कई मांगे हैं जो नहीं मानी गई हैं। इन मांगों को लेकर सीएम भजन लाल से भी बात हुई लेकिन वहां से भी कोई जवाब नहीं मिला। अब पत्नी ने जौहर की चेतावनी दी है और वे जयपुर आ रही है। पुलिस उन्हें रोकने का प्रयास कर रही है।

The government had given assurance to fulfill 11 demands
In fact, after the murder of Gogamedi, the family had refused to accept the body. After that, apart from police and administrative officers, political leaders tried to convince the family. The family had given 11 demands to the government. The government agreed to those demands and got the body picked up and the last rites were performed.

Didn't even get job or compensation
Sheela Shekhawat says that out of these demands, the government has accepted only two. The first of which is to investigate with a big agency and the second is to provide security to the family. Neither did the government provide a job to the family member nor give any amount as compensation, and there are many other demands which have not been met. There was also discussion with CM Bhajan Lal regarding these demands but no response was received from there also. Now the wife has warned of Jauhar and she is coming to Jaipur. The police is trying to stop them.
