राजस्थान के धौलपुर जिले के मांगरोल कांग्रेस ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष मेहताब को गोलियों से भून दिया। बाइकों पर आए हमलावरों ने पहले धारदार हथियार से हमला कर नीचे गिराया। फिर गोलियां चलाईं। हमले में मेहताब की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। घटना मनियां में शुक्रवार शाम 5:50 बजे को हुई। हमले का वीडियो भी सामने आया है। हत्या के बाद इलाके में तनाव बना हुआ है। भारी संख्या में पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, मेहताब (50) पुत्र प्रदुमन सिंह निवासी जलालपुर मांगरोल में कांग्रेस ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष था। बताया जा रहा है कि गांव में शनिवार को पटवारी कार्यालय का उद्घाटन होना था। जिसको मेहताब मनिया कस्बे में टेंट वाले के पास गए थे। टेंट का सामान लेते वक्त अचानक बाइकों पर आए 7 हमलावरों ने मेहताब को घेरते हुए कुल्हाड़ी से हमला कर दिया। बचने के लिए ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष भागने लगे तो पकड़कर नीचे गिरा दिया। गिरने पर गोलियों से भून दिया। कई गोलियां लगने से मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

While taking the goods of the tent, suddenly 7 assailants who came on bikes surrounded Mehtab and attacked him with an axe. When the block president started running to escape, he was caught and thrown down. When he fell, he was fired with bullets. He died on the spot due to multiple bullets.
