श्रीगंगानगर जिले के गांव हिंदुमलकोट में एक किसान से एक करोड़ रुपए की फिरौती मांगने का मामला सामने आया है। किसान ने बताया कि लगभग एक महीने पहले एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने उसे व्हाट्सएप कॉल करके धमकियाँ देते हुए एक करोड़ रुपए मांगे थे। हालांकि, उसने किसी पर संदेह नहीं जताया है। पुलिस पीड़ित की कॉल डिटेल की जाँच कर रही है।

हिंदुमलकोट पुलिस के अनुसार, गांव सात बी बड़ी के श्रवण सिंह पुत्र मुख्त्यार सिंह ने शुक्रवार शाम को पुलिस को रिपोर्ट करते हुए कहा कि उसे लगभग एक महीने पहले 12 जनवरी को एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने रात करीब साढ़े आठ बजे फोन किया था। आरोपी ने उसे धमकाते हुए एक करोड़ रुपए की फिरौती देने की बात कही। नहीं देने पर उसे जान से मारने की धमकी दी।

रिपोर्ट के मिलने के बाद, पुलिस ने पीड़ित की कॉल डिटेल निकाली है, हालांकि व्हाट्सएप कॉल होने के कारण इसका रिकॉर्ड नहीं मिल पाया है। पुलिस आरोपी तक पहुंचने के लिए प्रयास कर रही है। पुलिस के अनुसार, मामले की जांच की जा रही है और पीड़ित से पूछताछ की गई है। पीड़ित ने रिपोर्ट में मामले में किसी गैंगस्टर का हाथ होने की आशंका नहीं जताई है। इस बारे में पुलिस किसान के परिवार और परिचितों से मिलकर जानकारी जुटाने का प्रयास कर रही है।

According to Hindumalkot police, Shravan Singh son of Mukhtyar Singh of village 7 B Badi, while reporting to the police on Friday evening, said that he was called by an unknown person about a month ago on January 12 at around 8.30 pm. The accused threatened him and asked him to pay a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Threatened to kill him if he did not give.

After receiving the report, the police have extracted the call details of the victim, however, since it was a WhatsApp call, its record could not be found. Police are trying to reach the accused. According to the police, the matter is being investigated and the victim has been questioned. In the report, the victim has not expressed any suspicion of involvement of any gangster in the case.
