राजस्थान में विधानसभा चुनाव हारने के बाद, कांग्रेस ने लोकसभा चुनाव की रणनीति को तेज कर दिया है। इस कड़ी में पूर्व सीएम अशोक गहलोत के गृह जिले जोधपुर में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं की नाराजगी भी झेलनी पड़ी है। शनिवार को जोधपुर लोकसभा क्षेत्र के लिए आब्जर्वर बनाए महेंद्र चौधरी ने लूणी के अलावा जोधपुर शहर, सरदारपुरा और सूरसागर विधानसभा कार्यकर्ताओं की बैठक की, जिसमें उम्मीदवार को लेकर राय जानने के लिए चर्चा शुरू हुई। इस दौरान एक बुजुर्ग कार्यकर्ता से माइक छीन लिया गया।

पार्टी के एक बुजुर्ग कार्यकर्ता ने कहा कि अशोक गहलोत चुनाव लड़ेंगे तो वो जीतेंगे, लेकिन एक लाइन के प्रस्ताव में वो अगर अपने बेटे या किसी के लिए बोल देंगे, तो पहले विचार कीजिए। मौजूद वैभव गहलोत की ओर इशारा करते हुए बुजुर्ग ने कहा कि वे यहां बैठे हैं, इसलिए उनके सामने कह रहा हूं कि वे क्रिकेट में ठीक हैं, लेकिन पॉलिटिकल उनका क्या रहेगा। मैं नहीं जानता। ऐसे में मंच से एनाउंस हो गया कि व्यक्तिगत नहीं बोलें। उनसे माइक छीन लिया गया, तो दूसरे कार्यकर्ताओं ने माइक वापस देने के लिए हुटिंग भी की। इसके बाद बुजुर्ग वहां से निकल गए।

बुजुर्ग से पहले एक महिला कार्यकर्ता ने भी खरी-खरी सुनाते हुए कहा कि पार्टी पैराशूट कैंडिडेट लैंड करवा देती है। वे हार जाते हैं। इसलिए जिनको कार्यकर्ता चाहे, उनको ही टिकट देंगे, तो सीट निकलेगी नहीं, तो हारना पड़ेगा। एक महिला कार्यकर्ताओं ने साफ कहा कि कार्यकर्ताओं के कहने से कभी उम्मीदवार आते हैं, ऐसा नहीं होता है।

महिलाओं को साइड लाइन कर दिया जाता है। उनके काम नहीं होते हैं। उल्लेखनीय है कि गत लोकसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने वैभव गहलोत को प्रत्याशी बनाया था, लेकिन वे हार गए। बैठक शुरू हुई तो मंच से जिलाध्यक्ष सलीम खान, महामंदिर के हेमसिंह गहलोत सहित अन्य ने कहा कि हमें हमारी परंपरा निभाते हुए उम्मीदवार का जिम्मा अशोक गहलोत पर छोड़ना चाहिए, लेकिन वहां मौजूद कार्यकर्ताओं में इस तरह का प्रस्ताव पर नाराजगी दिखी। महेंद्र चौधरी ने कहा कि हम विधानसभा चुनाव हार गए, लेकिन हमें हताश नहीं होना है। वैभव गहलोत ने सभी से एकजुट होकर काम करने के लिए कहां।
