चूरू के डीबी अस्पताल के इमरजेंसी वार्ड में रविवार रात लाठी चार्ज का मामला सामने आया है। वार्दात के बाद ड्यूटी डॉक्टर सहित स्टाफ में डर दिखाई दी। अस्पताल प्रशासन का आरोप है कि उन्होंने नर्सिंग ऑफिसर पर लाठी से हमला किया, लेकिन लाठी के वार से नर्सिंग ऑफिसर बच गए। सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली थाना पुलिस और दूधवाखारा पुलिस अस्पताल पहुंची और हालात को कंट्रोल किया।

बीकानेर जिले के झंझेऊ गांव के छेलूसिंह का यहां एक्सीडेंट हो गया था। उनके साथी शिव सिंह (26) ने उन्हें गाड़ी में लेकर अस्पताल के इमरजेंसी वार्ड पहुंचाया, लेकिन उस समय अस्पताल स्टाफ किसी सीरियस मरीज के इलाज में लगा हुआ था। इसके कारण उन्हें तुरंत इलाज नहीं मिला, जिससे शिव सिंह का गुस्सा बढ़ा। उन्होंने लाठी निकालकर गाली गलौच की और तोड़फोड़ शुरू की। डॉक्टर और स्टाफ के केबिन के शीशे और प्लाई तोड़ दी।

इसी बीच अस्पताल अधीक्षक डॉ. हनुमान जयपाल और इमरजेंसी वार्ड इंचार्ज डॉ. आनंद प्रकाश वार्ड में पहुंचे। अस्पताल प्रशासन ने पुलिस को लिखित रिपोर्ट दी, जिसमें राजकारण में बाधा, अस्पताल के खिड़कियों और दरवाजों की तोड़फोड़ का आरोप लगाया गया है।
