हाल ही में भजनलाल सरकार के मंत्रिमंडल का गठन हो गया. इसमें बाबा बालमुकुंदाचार्य को शामिल नहीं किया गया. इस बात को लेकर जब उनसे सवाल किया गया तो उन्होंने कहा कि मैं दौड़ में नहीं था. जो बने हैं वो परिवार के सदस्य बने हैं. कोई मम्मी-बेटे की कंपनी और जीजा-जीजी ने तो फाइनल किया नहीं है. साथ ही अपने मुस्लिम बाहुल्य क्षेत्र को लेकर बाबा ने कहा कि ढाई लाख मतदाताओं का उनका परिवार है. राम मंदिर के उद्घाटन के दिन 36 कोम के लोग अयोध्या जाएंगे.
