BREAKING : भारत को मिले दो नए चुनाव आयुक्त…इन्हे किए गए नियुक्त

 लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने राजेश कुमार गुप्ता और प्रियांश शर्मा को भारत का नया निर्वाचन आयुक्त नियुक्त किया है।

समिति की मीटिंग से पहले विपक्ष के नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने कानून मंत्रालय को चिट्ठी लिखी थी। उन्होंने लिस्ट में शामिल उम्मीदवारों के बारे में जानकारी मांगी थी।

आपको बात दें कि लोकसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों के बीच 9 मार्च को चुनाव आयुक्त अरूण गोयल ने इस्तीफा दिया था। उनके इस्तीफे को राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने मंजूरी भी दी थी। इसे लेकर सरकार की तरफ से अधिसूचना जारी की गयी। आपको बता दें, 1985 बैच के IAS अधिकारी अरुण गोयल ने 21 नवंबर, 2022 को चुनाव आयुक्त का पदभार ग्रहण किया था। उससे पहले वो भारी उद्योग मंत्रालय में सचिव पद पर रह चुके थे।

ज्ञात हो कि, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग में पहले ही चुनाव आयुक्त का एक पद रिक्त था। अचानक अरुण गोयल के त्यागपत्र देने से केवल मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त राजीव कुमार ही बचे थे। अब इन रिक्तियों को भर लिया गया है। बुधवार (13 मार्च) को दो चुनाव नए आयुक्त की नियुक्ति हुई। इसे लेकर आदेश भी जारी कर दिए गए हैं।

  Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission of India has appointed Rajesh Kumar Gupta and Priyansh Sharma as the new Election Commissioners of India.

Before the committee meeting, opposition leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary had written a letter to the Law Ministry. He had asked for information about the candidates included in the list.

Let us tell you that amidst the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, Election Commissioner Arun Goyal had resigned on March 9. His resignation was also approved by President Draupadi Murmu. A notification was issued by the government regarding this. Let us tell you, 1985 batch IAS officer Arun Goyal took over as Election Commissioner on November 21, 2022. Before that he had held the post of Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries.

It may be noted that there was already a vacancy of one post of Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India. Due to the sudden resignation of Arun Goyal, only Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar was left. Now these vacancies have been filled. On Wednesday (13 March), two new election commissioners were appointed. Orders have also been issued regarding this.
