इस साल भाई दूज पर भाई को तिलक करने के दो शुभ मुहूर्त हैं. पहला शुभ मुहूर्त सुबह 6 बजकर 44 मिनट से सुबह 9 बजकर 24 मिनट तक है. जबकि दूसरा शुभ मुहूर्त सुबह 10 बजकर 40 मिनट से लेकर दोपहर 12 बजे तक है. इसके बाद राहुकाल शुरू हो जाएगा.

कैसे मनाएं भाई दूज? (Bhai Dooj 2023 Vidhi)
भाई दूज के दिन भाई प्रातःकाल चन्द्रमा के दर्शन करें और शुद्ध जल से स्नान करें. भाई दूज के मौके पर बहनें, भाई के तिलक और आरती के लिए थाल सजाती हैं. इसमें कुमकुम, सिंदूर, चंदन, फल, फूल, मिठाई और सुपारी आदि सामग्री होनी चाहिए. तिलक करने से पहले चावल के मिश्रण से एक चौक बनाएं.

भाई दूज के विषय में एक पौराणिक मान्यता के अनुसार यमुना ने इसी दिन अपने भाई यमराज की लंबी आयु के लिए व्रत किया था और उन्हें अन्नकूट का भोजन खिलाया था. कथा के अनुसार यम देवता ने अपनी बहन को इसी दिन दर्शन दिए थे. यम की बहन यमुना अपने भाई से मिलने के लिए अत्यधिक व्याकुल थी. अपने भाई के दर्शन कर यमुना बेहद प्रसन्न हुई. यमुना ने प्रसन्न होकर अपने भाई की बहुत आवभगत की.
