बिहार के बक्सर में रघुनाथपुर स्टेशन के समीप नॉर्थईस्ट ट्रेन दर्दनाक हादसे का शिकार हो गई. यहां ट्रेन की सभी बोगियां बेपटरी हो गईं. दो बोगियां पूरी तरह पलट गईं. हादसे में अधिकारिक तौर पर चार लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है, जिसमें एक मां और आठ साल की बच्ची शामिल है, जबकि दो अन्य युवकों की मौत हुई है.

मृतकों की पहचान ऊषा भंडारी और उनकी आठ वर्षीय पुत्री अमृता कुमारी के रूप में हुई है, जो आसाम के तिनसुकिया जिले के सदियां गांव की रहने वाली थीं. ऊषा अपनी बेटी और पति के अलावा एक अन्य बच्ची के साथ दिल्ली से असम जा रही थीं.

तीसरे मृतक की पहचान बिहार के किशनगंज जिले के सपतेया विष्णुपुर के रहने वाले 27 वर्षीय जैद के रूप में हुई है. ये दिल्ली से किशनगंज जा रहे थे. वहीं चौथे मृतक की पहचान नहीं हो पाई है. मृतकों के अलावा 100 लोग जख्मी हुए हैं. इन सभी का इलाज बक्सर, भोजपुर और पटना एम्स में कराया जा रहा है.

एसी कोच में ज्यादातर लोग सो चुके थे, तभी लगा जोरदार झटका

मृतकों के परिजनों और प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने हादसे को बेहद भयावह बताया. उन्होंने कहा कि AC बोगी के सभी यात्री लगभग सो चुके थे या सोने की तैयारी में थे, तभी अचानक ट्रेन झटका देने लगी. सभी लोग अपने बर्थ से गिरने लगे. तकरीबन 10 से 15 मिनट तक ट्रेन में तेज झटके लगते रहे. जब तक किसी को कुछ समझ आता, तब तक ट्रेन की सारी 23 बोगियां बेपटरी हो चुकी थीं. दो बोगियां पलट गई थीं.

ट्रैक उखड़ गया था. कोई यात्री बर्थ के नीचे दबा था तो कोई खिड़की के नीचे तो कोई शौचालय में फंसा हुआ था. हादसा इतना जोरदार था कि आवाज एक किलोमीटर दूर तक सुनाई दी. इतनी भयावह आवाज सुनकर सैकड़ों की संख्या में ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंच गए और लोगों की मदद में जुट गए.

ट्रेन हादसे में जख्मी असम के अब्दुल मलिक ने बताया कि हम अपनी बर्थ के नीचे दबे थे. जैसे-तैसे बाहर निकले तो देखा की ट्रेन का एक्सीडेंट हो गया है. सभी बोगियां इधर-उधर पड़ी हैं. हमने देखा कि बहुत से आसपास के लोग मौके पर आ गए थे और लोगों की मदद कर रहे थे. बोगी में घुसकर, बाहर से शीशा तोड़कर यात्रियों को निकाल रहे थे.

हादसे को लेकर ट्रेन के गार्ड ने क्या बताया?

नार्थ ईस्ट 12505 ट्रेन के गार्ड विजय कुमार ने बताया कि हम तकरीबन 9 बजकर कुछ मिनट हो रहा था, अपनी सीट पर बैठकर कागजी कार्रवाई कर रहे थे, तब एकाएक झटका लगा और हम अपनी सीट से जा गिरे. कुछ समझ में नहीं आ रहा था कि क्या हुआ है. ट्रेन की गति 100 किमी रही होगी. जब तक खड़े होते, तब तक ट्रेन दुर्घनाग्रस्त हो गई थी. हादसा कैसे हुआ, यह पूछने पर गार्ड ने कहा कि इसका जवाब सिर्फ ड्राइवर ही दे सकता है कि एक्सीडेंट कैसे हुआ.

Northeast train became victim of a tragic accident near Raghunathpur station in Buxar, Bihar. Here all the bogies of the train derailed. Two bogies were completely overturned. Four people have been officially confirmed dead in the accident, which includes a mother and an eight-year-old girl, while two other youths have died.

The deceased have been identified as Usha Bhandari and her eight-year-old daughter Amrita Kumari, who were residents of Sadian village in Tinsukia district of Assam. Apart from her daughter and husband, Usha was going from Delhi to Assam with another girl.

The third deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Zaid, a resident of Sapateya Vishnupur in Kishanganj district of Bihar. They were going from Delhi to Kishanganj. The fourth deceased has not been identified. Apart from the dead, 100 people were injured. All of them are being treated in Buxar, Bhojpur and Patna AIIMS.

Most of the people in the AC coach were asleep when there was a strong shock.

The relatives of the deceased and eyewitnesses described the accident as extremely horrific. He said that all the passengers of the AC bogie were almost asleep or were preparing to sleep, when suddenly the train started jerking. Everyone started falling from their berths. There were strong shaking in the train for about 10 to 15 minutes. By the time anyone could understand anything, all 23 bogies of the train had derailed. Two bogies had overturned.

The track was uprooted. Some passengers were trapped under the berth, some under the window and some in the toilet. The accident was so powerful that the sound was heard up to a kilometer away. Hearing such a frightening sound, hundreds of villagers reached the spot and started helping the people.

'We were buried under the berth, somehow we came out...' In the words of the injured

Abdul Malik of Assam, who was injured in the train accident, told that we were buried under our berth. As soon as we came out, we saw that the train had met with an accident. All the bogies are lying here and there. We saw that many nearby people had come to the spot and were helping people. They were taking out the passengers by entering the bogie, breaking the glass from outside.

What did the train guard tell about the accident?

Couldn't understand what had happened. The speed of the train must have been 100 km. By the time we stood there, the train had met with an accident. When asked how the accident happened, the guard said that only the driver can answer how the accident happened.
