केंद्रीय जलशक्ति मंत्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत ने कहा कि उनके खिलाफ इस चुनाव में कई झूठ प्रचारित करने का प्रयास किया गया। इमसें सांसद फंड, विकास और बाद में संजीवनी, यह बुझे हुए कारतूस हैं। इसके इस्तेमाल से कुछ हासिल नहीं होगा, क्योंकि मैंने कोई पाप नहीं किया था। बुधवार को भाजपा के मीडिया सेंटर में आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में शेखावत ने ये बातें कही। उन्होंने कहा कि संजीवनी मामले में सरकार ने अपने पूरे संसाधनों का उपयोग किया।

लाखों-करोड़ों रुपये सिर्फ इसलिए खर्च किए कि मुझे फंसाया जा सके, लेकिन कुछ हासिल नहीं हुआ। उन्होंने कहा कि जब सरकार के मुखिया कुछ हासिल नहीं कर सके तो (करण सिंह का नाम लिए बगैर) उनकी अर्नगल बातों से कुछ फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा। जनता सब जानती है।

कांग्रेस की नीति होती तो सबसे पहले हर काम अल्पसंख्यकों के
शेखावत ने कांग्रेस के नेता सैम पित्रोदा के बयान, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा कि अमेरिका में व्यक्ति की मौत के बाद उसकी संपत्ति पूरे परिवार को नहीं मिलती है, सरकार के पास बड़ा हिस्सा जाता है, जो गरीबों के काम आता है, पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि पित्रोदा मनमोहन सरकार के सलाहकार रहे हैं।

इस बयान को 2006 में मनमोहन सिंह के बयान से जोड़कर देखिए जो समझ आता है कि जो इस तरह की संपत्ति होगी, उन पर पहला अधिकार मुसलमानों का होगा। घुसपैठियों को भी भारत की संपत्ति बांटने की बात है। यह दुर्भागय की स्थिति है। कांग्रेस की नीति होती तो सबसे पहले हर काम अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए पहले होते, उसके बाद गरीब का नंबर आता।

कम मतदान से भाजपा को नुकसान सिर्फ भ्रम
शेखावत ने कहा कि यह बीते जमाने की बात हो गई, जब यह धारणा होती थी कि कम मतदान से भाजपा को नुकसान होगा। पिछले सालों से हमारी सरकारें कई जगह बन रही हैं, केंद्र में बनी है। ऐसे में कम मतदान से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है, लेकिन यह चिंता का विषय है कि मतदान कम क्यों हुआ? इसके लिए चुनाव आयोग, सभी राजनीतिक दल और सामान्य लोगों को सोचना होगा, कहां कमी रह गई , क्योंकि प्रयास अधिक से अधिक मतदान का होना चाहिए।

मेरी जीत का अंतर इस बार अधिक होगा
शेखावत से पूछा गया कि क्या इस बार का चुनाव थोड़ा टफ है? इस पर शेखावत ने कहा कि पिछले चुनाव में अशोक गहलोत के पुत्र से मुकाबला था। हमारी प्रदेश में सरकार नहीं थी। हमारे लोकसभा क्षेत्र के अधिकांश भाजपा विधायक चुनाव हार चुके थे। पूरी सरकार वैभव गहलोत के लिए काम कर रही थी। परिस्थितियां प्रतिकूल थीं, लेकिन फिर भी जनता ने मोदीजी को मजबूत करने के लिए मुझे जीताया था। इस बार उससे कहीं आसान चुनाव है, जीत का अंतर भी पिछली जीत से अधिक होगा।

Shekhawat, while reacting to the statement of Congress leader Sam Pitroda, in which he said that after the death of a person in America, his entire family does not get his property, a major part goes to the government, which is used for the poor. That Pitroda has been an advisor to the Manmohan government.

By linking this statement with Manmohan Singh's statement in 2006, it is understood that Muslims will have the first right on such property. There is also talk of distributing India's wealth to the infiltrators. This is an unfortunate situation. If Congress had had a policy then every work would have been done for the minorities first and then the poor would have come next.

Loss to BJP due to low turnout is only confusion
Shekhawat said that it is a thing of the past when it was believed that low turnout would harm the BJP. For the past years, our governments have been formed at many places and have been formed at the centre. In such a situation, low voting does not make any difference, but it is a matter of concern why the voting was low? For this, the Election Commission, all political parties and common people will have to think about what is missing, because efforts should be made to vote as much as possible.

My winning margin will be higher this time
Shekhawat was asked whether this time's election is a bit tough? On this Shekhawat said that in the last elections there was competition from Ashok Gehlot's son. There was no government in our state. Most of the BJP MLAs from our Lok Sabha constituency had lost the elections. The entire government was working for Vaibhav Gehlot. The circumstances were adverse, but still the public made me win to strengthen Modiji. This time the election is much easier, the margin of victory will also be more than the previous victory.
