भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो उदयपुर की टीम ने डूंगरपुर जिले की बिछीवाड़ा थाने के कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा को 15 हजार रुपए की रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार किया है. आरोपी कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा हाई-वे पर अवैध रूप से पेट्रोल-डीजल बेचने वालों से अवैध वसूली कर रहा था. एसीबी ने उसके पास से रिश्वत में दिए 15 रुपए बरामद कर लिए है. 

बताया गया कि यह कार्रवाई उदयपुर एसीबी सीआई सोनू शेखावत के नेतृत्व में की गई. एसीबी उदयपुर की सीआई सोनू शेखावत ने बताया की बिछीवाड़ा थाने के कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा के खिलाफ परिवादी ने 29 अप्रैल को शिकायत दी थी. इसमें बताया की नेशनल हाई-वे 48 पर अवैध रूप से पेट्रोल-डीजल बेचने वालों से आरोपी कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा अवैध रूप से जबरन रुपए मांग रहा है. 

शिकायत की पुष्टि के बाद घूस लेते ही दबोचा
शिकायत पर एसीबी ने मामले का सत्यापन करवाया. जिस पर कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा की ओर से रिश्वत मांगने की पुष्टि हुई. इस पर पीड़ित व्यक्ति आज शुक्रवार को 15 हज़ार रुपए लेकर आरोपी कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा को देने पहुंचा. कांस्टेबल ने रिश्वत के रुपए ले लिए. इसके बाद इशारा मिलते ही एसीबी की टीम थाने पर पहुंच गई. 

पुलिस उपाधीक्षक और सीआई के नाम पर मांगी थी रिश्वत
एसीबी ने आरोपी कांस्टेबल रोहित के कब्जे से रिश्वत में लिए 15 हजार रुपए बरामद कर लिए है. आरोपी कांस्टेबल ने पुलिस उपाधीक्षक और सीआई के नाम पर ये रिश्वत की मांग की थी. एसीबी की टीम आरोपी कांस्टेबल से पूछताछ कर रही है. वही कांस्टेबल के पकड़े जाते ही पुलिस महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया. 

2018 में भर्ती हुआ, 2022 से बिछीवाड़ा में तैनात
आरोपी कांस्टेबल रोहित कटारा 2018 में पुलिस विभाग में कांस्टेबल भर्ती हुआ था. इसके बाद वह 2022 से बिछीवाड़ा थाने में तैनात है. नेशनल हाई-वे 48 अवैध रूप से पेट्रोल डीजल की धड़ल्ले से बिक्री होती है. जिस पर पिछले दिनों पुलिस की ओर से कई कार्रवाई की गई. कांस्टेबल अवैध रूप से पेट्रोल डीजल बेचने वालो से ही वसूली कर रहा था.

Constable arrested for extorting money from shopkeepers on the highway, ACB caught red handed taking bribe of Rs 15 thousand

The team of Anti-Corruption Bureau Udaipur has arrested constable Rohit Katara of Bichhiwada police station of Dungarpur district red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 15 thousand. Accused constable Rohit Katara was making illegal recovery from those selling petrol and diesel on the highway. ACB has recovered Rs 15 given as bribe from him.

It was told that this action was taken under the leadership of Udaipur ACB CI Sonu Shekhawat. ACB Udaipur's CI Sonu Shekhawat said that the complainant had given a complaint against constable Rohit Katara of Bichhiwada police station on April 29. It was told that the accused constable Rohit Katara is illegally demanding money from those selling petrol and diesel illegally on National Highway 48.

Caught taking bribe after confirming complaint
On complaint, ACB got the case verified. On which the demand for bribe from constable Rohit Katara was confirmed. On this, the victim came today Friday with Rs 15,000 to give to the accused constable Rohit Katara. The constable took the bribe money. After this, as soon as the signal was received, the ACB team reached the police station.

Bribe was demanded in the name of Deputy Superintendent of Police and CI
ACB has recovered Rs 15,000 taken as bribe from the possession of accused constable Rohit. The accused constable had demanded this bribe in the name of Deputy Superintendent of Police and CI. The ACB team is interrogating the accused constable. As soon as the constable was caught, there was a stir in the police department.

Accused constable Rohit Katara was recruited as a constable in the police department in 2018. After this, he is posted at Bichhiwara police station from 2022. There is rampant sale of petrol and diesel illegally on National Highway 48. On which many actions were taken by the police recently. The constable was collecting money illegally from those selling petrol and diesel.
