प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) की टीम कथित शराब नीति घोटाले के एक मामले में दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को गुरुवार शाम उनके आधिकारिक आवास पर पूछताछ और तलाशी के बाद गिरफ्तार कर उन्हें ए.पी.जे पर अब्दुल कलाम रोड स्थित अपने दफ्तर ले आई है. ईडी की टीम रात 11 बजे सीएम को उनके आवास से वित्तीय जांच एजेंसी के कार्यालय ले आई. एजेंसी के कार्यालय के आसपास बड़ी संख्या में पुलिसकर्मियों को तैनात किया गया है और आसपास बैरिकेड्स लगाए गए हैं. पूरे इलाके में निषेधाज्ञा भी लागू कर दी गई है.
ईडी सूत्र ने कहा कि केजरीवाल गुरुवार रात ईडी लॉकअप में रहेंगे. जांचकर्ता उनसे (केजरीवाल) और पूछताछ कर सकते हैं. मेडिकल जांच के बाद उन्हें शुक्रवार को अदालत में पेश किया जाएगा. वहीं मेडिकल के बाद ईडी अफसरों ने अरविंद केजरीवाल से पूछा था कि क्या कुछ खाएंगे या गर्म पानी लेंगे तो उन्होंने कुछ भी लेने से इनकार कर दिया. बताया जा रहा है कि मेडिकल टीम ने भी अरविंद केजरीवाल से पूछा था कि वह कुछ खाएंगे तो उन्होंने उस वक्त भी कुछ भी लेने से इनकार कर दिया था. हालांकि बताया जा रहा है कि अरविंद केजरीवाल की मेडिकल रिपोर्ट नॉर्मल आई है.
