सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा, मरीजों का शोषण रोकने के लिए जरूरी गाइडलाइन बनाए केंद्र सरकार

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मंगलवार को कहा कि राज्य सरकारें किफायती चिकित्सा और बुनियादी ढांचा सुनिश्चित करने में नाकाम रही हैं। इससे प्राइवेट अस्पतालों को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है। इसे रोकने के लिए केंद्र सरकार को गाइडलाइन बनानी चाहिए। दरअसल सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक याचिका लगाई थी, जिसमें कहा गया था कि प्राइवेट अस्पतालों में मरीजों और उनके परिवारों को अस्पताल की फार्मेसी से महंगी दवाएं और मेडिकल इक्यूपमेंट खरीदने के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है। 

इसलिए ऐसे अस्पतालों पर नकेल कसी जाए। इसे रोकने के लिए केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों को आदेश दिया जाए। जस्टिस सूर्यकांत और एनके सिंह की बैंच इस पर सुनवाई की। केंद्र ने अपने जवाब में कहा कि मरीजों को अस्पताल की फार्मेसी से दवा खरीदने के लिए मजबूर नहीं किया जाता है। इस पर कोर्ट ने कहा कि यह जरूरी है कि राज्य सरकारें अपने अस्पतालों में दवाएं और मेडिकल सेवाएं सस्ती कीमतों पर उपलब्ध कराएं, ताकि मरीजों का शोषण न हो। 

जस्टिस सूर्यकांत ने कहा कि हम याचिकाकर्ता बात से सहमत हैं, लेकिन इसे कैसे नियंत्रित करें?
कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकारों से कहा कि वे प्राइवेट अस्पतालों को कंट्रोल करें, जो मरीजों से अस्पताल के दुकानों से दवाई खरीदने के लिए मजबूर करते हैं। खासकर वे दवाइयां, जो किसी और जगह सस्ते में मिल रही हैं। कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को गाइडलाइंस बनाने को कहा, जिससे प्राइवेट अस्पताल आम लोगों का शोषण न कर सके। इससे पहले सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस मामले में सभी राज्यों को नोटिस भेजा था। उड़ीसा, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, बिहार, तमिलनाडु,
