चूरू। दहेज में एक लाख रुपए और बाइक की नहीं मिलने पर दहेज लोभियों ने विवाहिता को हीटर पर पेट्रोल डालकर जिंदा जलाने का प्रयास किया। राजलदेसर पुलिस ने पति और ससुर के खिलाफ दहेज प्रताड़ना और हत्या के प्रयास का मामला दर्ज किया है। राजलदेसर थानाधिकारी गीता रानी ने बताया कि मगरा बास लाडनूं निवासी ने रिपोर्ट दी कि करीब 10-11 साल पहले उसकी शादी आलसर निवासी के साथ हुई थी। 

शादी के बाद से ही ससुराल पक्ष के लोगों को मेरे पीहर से दिया गया सामान पसंद नहीं आया। वे आए दिन मुझे समाज में नाक कटवाने के ताने देते हैं। मेरे मायके वालों ने ससुराल वालों कई बार समझाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उन्हें कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ा। ससुराल पक्ष के लोग दहेज में एक लाख रुपए नकद और एक मोटर साईकिल की मांग करने लगे। वह पूरी नहीं करने पर मुझे दहेज के लिए प्रताड़ित करने तंग परेशान करने लगे।

पीड़िता ने बताया कि 14 मार्च 2024 की दोपहर करीब तीन बजे मैं रसोई में चाय बना रही थी। इसी दौरान मेरे पति और ससुर रसोई में चल रहे हीटर पर पेट्रोल डालकर मुझे जिंदा जलाने की कोशिश की। उन्होंने रसोई का दरवाजा बाहर से बंद कर दिया। जिससे में झुलसकर बेहोश हो गई। होश आने पर मैं राजलदेसर अस्पताल में भर्ती थी। पड़ोसियों से फोन मांगकर अपने भाई को सूचना दी। सूचना मिलने पर भाई अस्पताल पहुंच गया। जहां से मुझे लाडनूं के अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया।

My parents tried to convince my in-laws several times, but they did not make any difference. The in-laws started demanding dowry of Rs 1 lakh in cash and a motorcycle. When he did not fulfill it, he started harassing me for dowry.

The victim told that on March 14, 2024, at around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I was making tea in the kitchen. Meanwhile, my husband and father-in-law tried to burn me alive by pouring petrol on the heater running in the kitchen. He closed the kitchen door from outside. Due to which I got burnt and became unconscious. When I regained consciousness, I was admitted to Rajaldesar Hospital. He called his neighbors and informed his brother. On receiving the information the brother reached the hospital. From where I was admitted to Ladnun hospital.
