राजस्थान में बालोतरा जिले के सिवाना उपखंड के पादरू गांव में दो दिन पहले चचेरे भाई-बहन की हत्या के मामले में पुलिस ने खुलासा करते हुए दो बाल अपचारियों को निरुद्ध किया है. पुलिस की पूछताछ में सामने आया कि एक बालअपचारी ने अपने चाचा के घर में ही चोरी का प्लान बनाया था. चोरी की घटना के दिन चाचा किसी शादी समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए पास ही एक गांव गया हुआ था. आरोपी चोरी की नीयत से उनके घर में घुसा, लेकिन घर के आंगन में सो रहे चचेरे भाई की आंख खुल जाने के कारण उसने उसे पहचान लिया. चोरी की पोल खुल जाने के डर से उसने पास ही रखी कुल्हाड़ी से अपने भाई की गर्दन पर वार किया, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई.

भाई-बहन की गर्दन पर किया वार
घटना के वक्त पास में ही सो रही चचेरी बहन भी उस वक्त जाग गई, तो उसने उस पर भी कुल्हाड़ी से वार कर दिया, जिससे उसकी भी मौत हो गई. आरोपी ने बाद में घर में रखे गहने व नकदी चोरी की. घटना को अंजाम देकर वह वहां से फरार हो गया. पूरे घटनाक्रम में उसने अपने एक और चचेरे भाई को भी साथ में रखा और उससे रैकी भी करवाई. घटना के वक्त उसे घर के बाहर पहरेदारी के लिए खड़ा करके वह घर में घुसा था. पुलिस ने आरोपियों के कब्जे से चोरी के रुपए व गहने बरामद किए हैं और हत्या में प्रयुक्त कुल्हाड़ी भी बरामद कर ली है. पुलिस ने दोनों बाल अपचारियों को संरक्षण में लेकर आगे की कार्यवाही प्रारंभ कर दी है.

बेटी 12 तो बेटे की 8 वर्ष थी उम्र
गौरतलब है कि 23 अप्रैल को पादरू निवासी देरामराम मेगवाल अपने परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ पास ही के गांव मिठोडा में अपने रिश्तेदार के यहां शादी समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए गया था. देरामराम ने अपनी 12 वर्ष की बेटी झम्मू व 8 वर्षीय बेटे को घर पर ही रखा और पड़ोस में रहने वाले अपने भाई नारायण राम को बेटे गौतम उम्र 13 वर्ष को अपने घर पर सोने के लिए कह कर विवाह समारोह में निकल गए थे. सुबह परिवार के सदस्य शादी समारोह से वापस घर पहुंचने पर झम्मू व गौतम के खून से लथपथ शव देखे तो उनके होश उड़ गए. दोनों मासूम की देर रात किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने धारदार हथियार के साथ गला काट कर हत्या कर दी. दोनों के शरीर पर अन्य जगह भी घाव के निशान पाए गए. रात हुए घटनाक्रम में 8 वर्षीय मासूम कुछ दूरी पर सो रहे मासूम के नींद में होने व अंधेरा होने के कारण शायद हत्यारा देख नहीं पाया और उसकी जान बच गई.

पुलिस ने 36 घंटे में सुलझाया केस
दोनों मासूमो की हत्या की खबर गांव में आग की तरह फैल गई और बड़ी संख्या में लोग वहां पहुंचे और पुलिस को सूचना दी, जिस पर बालोतरा एसपी कुंदन कंवरिया, डीएसपी नीरज शर्मा भी मौके पर पहुंचे और घटनाक्रम की जानकारी ली. पुलिस ने एफएसएल टीम व डॉग स्क्वाड द्वारा मौके से सबूत इकट्ठे किए और दोनों मासूमो के शवों को मोर्चरी में रखवाया. पुलिस द्वारा हर पहलू की बारीकी से जांच कर ब्लाइंड मर्डर की गुत्थी सुलझाने में 36 घंटे में ही सफलता हासिल की.

The accused later stole the jewelery and cash kept in the house. After committing the incident he fled from there. During the entire incident, he kept another cousin of his along with him and also got the recce done from him. At the time of the incident, he had entered the house after keeping her guard outside the house. Police have recovered stolen money and jewelery from the possession of the accused and have also recovered the ax used in the murder. The police have taken both the child molesters under protection and have started further action.

Daughter was 12 and son was 8 years old.
It is noteworthy that on April 23, Padru resident Deramram Megwal along with his family members had gone to the nearby village of Mithoda to attend the wedding ceremony of his relative. Deram Ram kept his 12 year old daughter Jhammu and 8 year old son at home and left for the wedding ceremony after asking his brother Narayan Ram, who lives in the neighbourhood, to let his son Gautam, aged 13 years, sleep at his house. When the family members returned home from the wedding ceremony in the morning, they were shocked to see the blood-soaked bodies of Jhammu and Gautam. Both the innocent children were murdered by an unknown person late at night by slitting their throats with a sharp weapon. Wound marks were found elsewhere on both of their bodies. In the incident that took place at night, the 8-year-old innocent boy, who was sleeping at some distance, was asleep and due to darkness, perhaps the killer could not see him and his life was saved.

Police solved the case in 36 hours
The news of the murder of both the innocent children spread like wildfire in the village and a large number of people reached there and informed the police, on which Balotra SP Kundan Kanwariya, DSP Neeraj Sharma also reached the spot and took information about the incident. Police collected evidence from the spot through FSL team and dog squad and kept the bodies of both the innocent children in the mortuary. Police investigated every aspect closely and succeeded in solving the mystery of blind murder within 36 hours.
