खाजूवाला में पुलिसकर्मियों से चर्चा करते एसपी कावेंद्र सिंह सागर।
भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा पर बार-बार मिल रही हेरोइन और तस्करी की अन्य घटनाओं के मद्देनजर पुलिस सक्रिय हो गई है। बीकानेर के नए एसपी कावेंद्र सिंह सागर ने बॉर्डर पर स्थित थानों का निरीक्षण करने के बाद तस्करी पर खास नजर रखने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
एसपी रविवार को खाजूवाला सीओ सर्किल के खाजूवाला, पूगल, दंतौर व छतरगढ़ पुलिस थानों में पहुंचे। इन थाना क्षेत्रों में पिछले दिनों में नशे की सामग्री के तस्करी मामलों की रिपोर्ट ली। इस दौरान रुटीन निरीक्षण भी किया गया। खाजूवाला में पिछले दिनों एक पाकिस्तानी ड्रोन मिला था, जिसके बाद करीब 11 करोड़ रुपए की हेरोइन भी बरामद की गई। बीएसएफ के साथ मिलकर तस्करी पर अंकुश लगाने के संबंध में दिशा निर्देश दिए गए।
इस दौरान एसपी ने कहा कि संदिग्ध गतिविधियों हो तो ग्रामीणों को पुलिस को तुरंत सूचना देनी चाहिए। इस दौरान एडिशनल एसपी प्यारेलाल शिवरान, सीओ विनोद कुमार, खाजूवाला एसएचओ बलवंत कुमार, दंतौर एसएचओ जेठाराम, पूगल एसएचओ धर्मेंद्र सिंह,छतरगढ़ एसएचओ संदीप भी मौजूद रहे।
एसपी सागर ने बताया कि खाजूवाला थाने में नफरी की कमी व दोनों गाड़ियों के कंडम होने के बारे में जानकारी मिली है, उसको पूरा करने का मैं प्रयास होगा। खाजूवाला क्षेत्र में रात आठ बजे बाद भी शराब की दुकानें खुली रहने सहित कई मुद्दों पर निर्देश दिए गए हैं। अवैध रूप से जिप्सम, अफीम, हेरोइन जैसी गतिविधियों को देखते हुए स्पेशल टीम बनाकर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

In view of the frequent heroin and other smuggling incidents being found on the India-Pakistan border, the police has become active. Bikaner's new SP Kavendra Singh Sagar has given instructions to keep a special eye on smuggling after inspecting the police stations located on the border.
SP reached Khajuwala, Pogal, Dantaur and Chhatargarh police stations of Khajuwala CO Circle on Sunday. Reports of drug smuggling cases were taken in these police station areas in the past days. During this, routine inspection was also done. A Pakistani drone was found in Khajuwala recently, after which heroin worth about Rs 11 crore was also recovered. Guidelines were given in collaboration with BSF regarding curbing smuggling.
During this, the SP said that if there are suspicious activities, the villagers should immediately inform the police. During this, Additional SP Pyarelal Shivran, CO Vinod Kumar, Khajuwala SHO Balwant Kumar, Dantaur SHO Jetharam, Poogal SHO Dharmendra Singh, Chhatargarh SHO Sandeep were also present.
SP Sagar said that information has been received about shortage of manpower in Khajuwala police station and both the vehicles being condemned, I will try to fulfill it. Instructions have been given on many issues including liquor shops remaining open even after 8 pm in Khajuwala area. In view of illegal activities like gypsum, opium, heroin, action will be taken by forming a special team.
