Earthquake in Rajasthan: राजस्थान में बीते शनिवार देर रात लोगों ने तेज भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए. भूंकप के ये झटके सीकर, चूरू , डीडवाना, खाटूनगरी  धौंद  और नागौर जिले  सहित अन्य आसपास के इलाकों में भी महसूस किए गए. रिक्टर पैमाने पर भूकंप की तीव्रता 4.2 मापी गई है. देर रात लगे भूकंप के झटकों के कारण लोग हड़बड़बी में अपने अपने घरों से बाहर निकल पड़े. 


सीकर जिले में रात करीब 11.47 बजे  आए तेज भूकंप की तीव्रता 3.9 बताई जा रही है. इसकी सतह से गहराई 5 किमी अंदर थी. इसका केंद्र सीकर जिले का हर्ष बताया जा रहा है.

सीकर सहित कई कस्बों में महसूस किए गए भूकंप के झटके
नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सिस्मोलॉजी के अनुसार, रिक्टर स्केल पर इस भूकंप की तीव्रता 4.2 मापी गई। भूकंप के कारण सीकर जिले के साथ-साथ डीडवाना, चूरू, नागौर जिले के कई इलाकों में भी तेज झटके महसूस किए गए। इस भूकंप का असर डीडवाना, कुचामन, लाडनूं, मकराना, सालासर, सीकर और खाटूश्यामजी में भी महसूस किया गया। इसके अलावा रींगस कस्बे, धोद और झींमाता मंदिर में भी इसका असर देखने को मिला। वहां भी लोग डर के मारे घरों से बाहर निकल आए और देर रात वापस लौटे। फिलहाल, भूकंप के कारण इन इलाकों में किसी तरह के जानमाल के नुकसान की खबर नहीं है.

भूकंप कैसे मापा जाता है
भूकंप को भूकंपीय नेटवर्क के ज़रिए रिकॉर्ड किया जाता है। नेटवर्क में मौजूद हर भूकंपीय स्टेशन भूकंप आने पर उस जगह की जमीन की हलचल को मापता है. भूकंप में, एक चट्टान के दूसरे पर फिसलने से ऊर्जा निकलती है जिससे ज़मीन में हलचल होती है, इसे कंपन कहते हैं. इसकी तीव्रता रिक्टर स्केल के जरिए मापी जाती है.

Earthquake in Rajasthan: People felt strong earthquake tremors in Rajasthan late last Saturday night. These tremors of earthquake were also felt in Sikar, Churu, Didwana, Khatunagari Dhound and Nagaur districts and other surrounding areas. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. Due to the earthquake tremors late at night, people came out of their homes in a hurry.

The intensity of the strong earthquake that occurred at around 11.47 pm in Sikar district is being reported to be 3.9. Its depth was 5 km inside the surface. Its epicenter is said to be Harsh of Sikar district.

Earthquake tremors felt in many towns including Sikar

According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of this earthquake was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. Due to the earthquake, strong tremors were felt in many areas of Sikar district as well as Deedwana, Churu, Nagaur district. The effect of this earthquake was also felt in Deedwana, Kuchaman, Ladnun, Makrana, Salasar, Sikar and Khatushyamji. Apart from this, its effect was also seen in Ringas town, Dhod and Jhinmata temple. There too, people came out of their houses in fear and returned late at night. At present, there is no news of any loss of life or property in these areas due to the earthquake.

How is an earthquake measured

Earthquake is recorded through a seismic network. Every seismic station in the network measures the movement of the ground at that place when an earthquake occurs. In an earthquake, energy is released due to the sliding of one rock on another, which causes movement in the ground, this is called tremor. Its intensity is measured through the Richter scale.
